Good Thursday morning, Spies!

It's good to be back.  I missed you, friends!

Last week I was working all-nighters (after all-day); it was intense.  Then this weekend we went to Massachusetts for a costume wedding, then on the Kennebunkport, ME for a brief anniversary celebration.  We had a wonderful time!   It's good to be home, too, with something resembling a normal schedule in effect.

I am very much looking forward to at least one golf game this weekend.

... I didn't see any 30's and 40's last winter but we did have our share of below normal 50's. It was a weird Dec-Jan and the first few weeks of Feb, followed by an even weirder insanely hot summer. But still infinitely better than Chicago.

What up MGS peeps? Super happy the sun is coming out and warming us up a bit. Time to get some lawn work done before the freeze begins later this month. Ohhh the leaves there are so many....damn things.

Lived in Scottsdale from 1964-2020. Volunteer one year at the waste management open and had frost delays to 11am

@tdroma98 Once I get them, I’ll be happy to report my findings. I’ll be hitting the simulator while ol’ man winter covers the course with white death. It will be interesting. I bought them thinking I could compare them directly with my current gamers and get the numbers to prove the differences. We will see!

... I remember that! It isn't quite as cold here in Laveen but that was a rough couple weeks. I didn't go outside til afternoon so never experienced the morning cold, but I remember not playing several days during that time.

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! 

It's another chilly morning and I'm enjoying some coffee before heading into work. Although it's Friday, I get to do this again tomorrow. The end of the year always brings about a rush of desperation from management to hit the yearly numbers. It's a little extra OT for me, but I do miss having a two day weekend.

I had a good time on the community call yesterday, even with the technical difficulties. Getting to talk to @GolfSpy SAM, @EasyPutter, @Ben Joest, @GolfSpy BOS, and @Dead Solid Bogey was great.

Good morning Spies on a TGIF here in Michigan. A no commute, not supposed to work vacation day for me. But I did have some critical parts arrive at work yesterday, that require additional testing and analysis, so I finished up my responsibilities late yesterday, and now have to attend a meeting later this morning related to "next steps."

Can do that from home and online, so I will make my round scheduled for noon. Weather here supposed to get to mid 50's with windy conditions, but much better than what we had earlier this week.

Also received an email that my Titleist irons have shipped, and will be here Tuesday, so I will schedule another round for next Friday, it is Veterans Day and we have off to at least get them out on the course before winter does settle in here.

Hope that your day is the best it can possibly be, and that something golf related may be in your plans.

Good morning MGSpies from a dark for the next hour at least, but not as cold as last couple days WNY with fond memories of a last round played at my home course yesterday shared with the "best" community call (thanks Matt @GolfSpy SAM!) Jason @sirchunksalot, Ben @Ben Joest, Bryan @GolfSpy BOS, Jason @Jnoble89, and I know I am forgetting someone in my pre-coffee blitz to get my no-commute day online going at full speed from zero  and it is an abbreviated day having received a short notice invite to play Niagara Frontier GC this afternoon with a good friend, and hope golf is a part of your day too!

Good morning and happy Friday!  Kiddo is off from school today but that doesn't mean it still can't be donuts with dad day!  

After donuts I'm going to take my son golfing and see if being on the course makes it more interesting to him. He has shown some interest in the game but I'm just letting him decide.

I enjoyed my first community call yesterday. It was as friendly an as easy a going atmosphere as your friendly neighborhood bar. I am looking forward to learning everyone’s names. Well it was officially freezing temps here last night .. working it's way up to slightly better upper 30s as the sun finally gets higher in the sky.

Nothing special on tap today .. been exercising pretty steadily this week plus played some golf yesterday, so may have to make today a "light" day.

Or maybe not...

Good morning everyone. Coffee is down the hatch and prepping for the 6 hour drive to Minneapolis for my son’s wheelchair basketball tournament. Hoping to hit the city before rush hour gets crazy so we can get to one of my favorite pizza places which just happens to be next door to one of the better (imo) craft beer breweries (Barrel Theory) in Minneapolis. Since golf is definitely out of the question then the my next best alternative is to hit one or two breweries while I’m up there. Thinking this year it will be Lupulin. Went to Surly last year.  Gotta make the most out of the road trips . Hope everyone has a great day ahead!

Good Friday morning everyone!

Looking forward to a nice weekend with so far not much on the docket which is always nice. Winter is coming, golf is done, so not I get to running my other favorite thing to do. I know right just a glutton for punishment. I much prefer a run in the cold than the baking summer sun, so this is my favorite time of year to run. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning fellow spies and happy Friday! Getting out of the office at noon and heading straight to the range to put the new Ventus Blue TR through it's paces. Going to do a head to head comparison against the stock Tensei AV Raw White in my TSi3. Will be using the Mevo to gather ball data. My plan is to hit 5 balls and swap shafts for probably 5 rounds or so, then go 10ish balls in a row with each shaft. Really looking forward to it. Then if time allows, will play a few holes before heading home to see some on course performance. 

I will try to get my Mevo thread updated with the data this weekend, otherwise it'll be on Monday with a nice recap.

The whitetail woods are calling to me this weekend, so my other obsession will be taking center stage while I try to put down a good deer and get meat in the freezer.

YO, Yo, yo my spies… Good Friday to you all.. Lots to unload this morning. Greatly enjoyed my first community call yesterday. Apologies for cutting and running from the call without  explanation. Looking forward to many more calls.
   Got my anniversary gift to myself delivered late afternoon yesterday. After DM with @jdparker; I am trying to be logical and adult about the their use; extremely doubtful that will happen. 
    Even though my round yesterday left much to be desired; it was still a gorgeous day, with good people, and it was still GOLF; even if what I was doing didn’t look like it. The day continued on its upward trend with the community call. The day hit its pinnacle with the anniversary gift delivery. Everything was going so well that I was not paying attention when I innocently asked the SHE being when dinner was going to be ready…. I will leave this here for those who might find some use for it…

 

It maybe going to be 80 degrees here today, but I am skating on thin ice. Fortunately, I will be at the course most of the day getting ready for the weekend tournament. This will allow me hopefully to forgo the temptation of using the anniversary gift and most importantly hide from the wrath of the wife person.  
    May Friday be your friend and facilitate your ease into a fantastic weekend.

Good morning all. Had to skip the gym today flu/Covid shots kinda knocked me out. Need to look for a new indoor place to practice. I told my wife about my setup in the house and she got upset again (even though this one is actually the safest setup I’ve had).

Morning Spies!

Sun is shining today and the morning is dry here with 40 degrees. It’s going to be manageable today weather wise but no golf for me today  - I have mowing, mowing and more mowing to do on the range today. Have to prep the small engines and motorcycle for winter. Then grandkids will be over to stay the night (plus class tonight). BUT….. I have a round planned for tomorrow with @snoopy79 at Windy Knoll. Haven’t played there in years so it will be interesting to see how I get on.

Today is National Sandwich Day so go make yourselves a Dagwood for lunch (dating myself right there).

@Preeway have an awesome time! IF by chance you end up going through/near Hudson, WI, check out Hop & Barrel Brewing Co.. They have AWESOME brews, and the downtown scene of Hudson is just a cool little river town.

Morning spies! 46°and overcast this morning. Sneaking in a round before we leave for the soccer tournament in St. Louis. Course is currently empty aside from three solos.
