Good morning Spies,

It’s a cold gray day in CNY. Enjoying my morning cuppa with Italian cookies. It feels like my cold has fully moved on. Yesterday was errand day. Picked up the prime rib for Christmas dinner. Picked up the roast for making my Nonni’s gravy to go with the stuffed rigatoni for Christmas Eve dinner. (It’s a red meat Christmas) And got the last of the “stocking stuffers” for my lovely wife. 

SWMBO is a huge Friends fan. So in her honor.

Good morning everyone. So nice to sleep in, even if it was on to 7:30. Last minute shopping to get in this weekend. And then pictures/video to sort through for some posting the testing thread. Hoping for another warm-ish day soon to get out for some more outdoor testing. And if I’m lucky, perhaps one round on the course before the end of the year. That’s always a challenge in Nebraska though. Hope everyone has a marvelous weekend and may your last minute shopping go as smoothly as your golf swing. I’ll let you figure out if that’s a good thing or bad, .

BUT,But, but… While a wonderful sentiment; I would need more than a holiday, holiday weekend, or even holiday week to review just the top layer of some of my more dubious decisions.

Good morning MGS! All the Christmas plans are set and everyone's excitement is building toward Christmas morning. Will be spending the next few days with family, fortunately everyone is close and we don't have a ton of travel required. Looking forward to the family time, it truly is a wonderful time of year as everyone is typically happy and joyful. No golf for the next few days. Have a great day Spies!

My annual Christmas prayer and hope is that Santa continues to use “ boy” metrics in discerning good or bad behavior. If Mrs. Santa gets involved, I am not sure there would be enough lumps of coal available to go around.

Good morning, Spies!

I have missed the forum lately quite a bit.  The pre-holiday craziness at work was amazingly productive and fruitful.  It has finally subsided (until Tuesday at least).  We wrapped up every current loose end yesterday afternoon.  This almost never happens, especially at year-end, and it is an awesome feeling heading into the holidays.

Early to bed last night hoping to catch up on some rest, and I suppose I did some, but after 6 hours my brain rebelled in shock and horror at my laziness and tossed me back into waking reality.  So here I am, before heading out to the garage to regrip, cut, and assemble a couple driver shafts for winter testing.

Today shows some real promise.  Santa has asked for some assistance this morning that necessitates an early trip to the box stores at opening time.

Then . . . dare I dream?  It's supposed to be 60 degrees, clear, and calm in Indy this afternoon, and the golf green light was given last night by FABWIFE.  Fingers crossed, Spies.  We may have a Christmas Miracle golf round this afternoon.

P.S.  Made it to the box store shortly after opening.  I saw this, panicked, and left.   Escaped!

Wife and I both made offers yesterday on homes for our clients and waiting to hear back today what the outcome is. 

Rain is forecasted for this morning but will be in the high 60s this afternoon for my normal round.

After spending 45 Christmas eves in the retail grocery business, this used to be an extremely stressful day, now 10 years removed it’s become very relaxed and reflective. I might even go to the store just for S&G ! Anyway , travel safe , enjoy the moments that might not come again and be grateful for the real reason we celebrate - merry Christmas y’all

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve! 

I got to enjoy sleeping in and not waking up before the sun this morning. @IndyBonzo I can feel your pain of how the body rebels when it thinks you're getting too much rest. I know this two statements contradict each other, but I was up till after 11 last night and threw my body's desire to be in bed by 9 off.

I might get out to the course again today, I need to work on ground contact. We are going out to pick up food tonight and probably going to come home and watch something to enjoy our time together. 

If any of you are travelling today to visit family, I hope you have safe passage to your destination.

Good morning all and Merry Christmas Eve!

Happy to report that my wife and I made it safely after our 10 hour drive from Chicago to Upstate NY. Took yesterday off from the Forum to enjoy some time with family and unplug. Catching up a bit this morning with a big cup of coffee and White Christmas on the TV.

Still recovering from the heart attack Bills game last night... way too close for comfort. Got to reunite with some friends and family which is always a treat.

Some Christmas Eve festivities later today, but laying low until then. Hope everyone has a great day and a happy holidays!

I may be going back to heating with coal. I’m trying to look at the bright side of being bad.
