Tale of two nines. 40 on the front, 48 on the back. Struggled finding the fairway off the tee on the back, lots of punch outs and smart decisions. In the past might have shot 52 instead on the back, so a bit better course management.

Due to new irons 6-GW, I took a wedge out from the old set that I still need and was missing a few times for specific yardage that I had no alternative for.  Cost me at least a few strokes.  At end of the round, the heat was starting to affect my concentration.  But had some great shots with the new irons.  Putted decently with the new putter with 33.  5 one putts.

Was in a tournament and they had all high handicappers (10 and above) playing from blue tees.  Did fairly well given it's 450 yards longer than I'm used to.  Putting stunk at the end, but otherwise was good.  Wound up pulling my driver out due to additional distance, but was probably a mistake as I was mishitting it more than my 4wood.  Will have to play from the blues again next time to see how much better I can manage.

Hope I did this correctly.  Two separate 9 hole rounds, one from the blues and one from the whites made for a Jekyll and Hyde round of scores.  Had 5 net birds and 1 net eagle, but had plenty of doubles and a couple of dumb triples to balance it all out.  New PR on the drive, had it on the hardest hole on the course.  Great fun for my first post.  Looking up at you pros at the top of the leaderboard!

BTW, this was a best ball that I played with @Eddy Dragonetti as my partner.  He carried me most of the way and we ended up net -2.  Not bad, but far from the money.

SO MANY low scores every week.  This week is no different.  Look at the top 23 and ties... Net -2 and better.  But on top of the heap this week...

@Mr_BogeyPro with his Net 64 (-10) at Silverthorne Golf Club.  Round of a lifetime there!!!  Congrats on shooting that low score!!
