What putters does everyone use?

Same - i have a small collection of putters on my practice area that I only use there and I will not part with them.

I agree. I hate parting with putters, since if you liked it a lot once, you may want to go back to it. I game the same putter usually one for 7-10 years, but I seem to buy a few (every so often) and like them for a few weeks / months and then go back to the trusted one.

I am thinking of having a gamer putter for slow greens and another for speedy greens.  I use lead tape but having two might be the answer.

I generally putt better on faster greens.

Been using an Odyssey Works Big T Blade counterbalanced with Fatso 5.0 grip for almost a decade I think.  Longest I've ever used a single putter.  Before that I was using a Scottie Cameron 2002 Christmas Edition Newport 2.  Such a beautiful club.

Been eyeing a new LAB golf putter all year though. Just not sure which one

Seeing all this LAB / Mezz love is becoming a problem for me.  I LOVE my Scotty, but I'm so intrigued by the technology and may / may not have already built a Mezz or two for fun....😱

Would answering that question as "Yes" be appropriate? LOL.

I am currently trying out a L.A.B. DF 2.1 Broomstick that was cut down to 34".  It is an interesting experiment... in a good way.  I also have a standard lie DF2.1.  My normal "Gamer" is the new Scotty Super Select Newport 2.5, prior to that it was the Special Select Newport 2.5, and I also opt for my Two-Ball-Ten when I'm struggling on the greens.

I'm waiting on my DF2.1 to get in. Can't wait!  I liked the weight and look of it the best and not surprising being that my favorite putter owned was a ping doc17 (big half circle) center shaft.

I’m using an Odyssey Tour Lined Eleven S (35”) with the stock pistol grip. It’s been pretty good for me. Some rounds are better than others, but GHIN says I’m averaging 35.5 putts a round so not bad.  Think I’d like to tinker with the grip down the road.

I write big so I can see it better.

I had the luck/pleasure of bumping into a booth at a golf show here in No. Va.

The booth was for positive putters.  I had time to kill because my buddies were shopping for deals.  The booth had a very Christian oriented banner, I don't remember the specifics.  It also had a bunch of putters swinging wildly on an apparatus three were swinging wildly and one was perfectly swinging.  I was drawn in to watching with another gent who was very suspicious of the apparatus, he said it has to be rigged.  The third gentleman standing near said to him he could switch them any way he wanted.  He even showed him how to hang them.  He asked what kind of putter I played and said if I asked the booth across from him they would let me borrow one to hang.  I did and it twisted like crazy.  Just like the others.  The gentleman asked If I would like to try a putter made just for me.  I said sure why not?  He handed me a yardstick and asked me to close my eyes and take a putter setup.  He marked where my hands sat on the stick and used a protractor to check the angle of the yardstick at the ground for lie angle.  He asked me what I would like in style of putter and where the shaft would go.  He said If I came back in half an hour he would have a putter try.

I followed my buddies for a while and went back.  The putter a Positive Putter P2 33" and 70* lie angle.  He put it on his fingers and I stood toe up.  I rolled ten straight putts from 5 to 10 feet dead in the heart.  I was excited but unsure.  I figured it would cost a small fortune.   It was only $150.  That was back in 2008 it is still in my bag.  I have 2 now.  I sent the original to be rehabbed and beautified at East Coast Custom Putters.  I figured I would invest in what works rather than switch to a new putter to get a better looking putter.

As I said earlier I have a whole lotta putters and I'll be damned if I don't have a Positive Putter model C-1 in there. Bought it because at the time (back in the 90's) I was trying oddball putters. It is definitely different.

Just switched from a Dunlop DDH blade I have had for 20+ years to an Odyssey 7 Nano stroke lab. First time out with it and hit a 20+ ft birdie putt! Love the feel and alignment line being on the top of the putter. Let's hope it continues with the good putts

After several months of searching and trying various demo putters, I settled on the Odyssey Versa DoubleWide.  The mild toe hang and balance are perfect for my slight arc and 3-putts are mostly a thing of the past, and more importantly, missed 3 footers are becoming a distant memory.  (My last putter purchase about 15 years ago).

I have seen a lot of L.A.B. Guys here. I just bought the LAB b2 off marketplace because it was a good price and I wanted to see what the hype was about.   As someone who exclusively plays a center shafted putter I’m not rolling it all that great. The feel outside 20 feet I don’t love and it has a 1.5 degree forward shaft lean grip that I’m having a hard time getting used too. I understand I bought it used and not fitted to me which might be my problem.  I’m debating switching back to my first love the Ping Ug-le - IMG_5825.jpeg.bc790713159bac90aa51958c5d77d13c.jpeg

I have never been someone who changes out their putter much. In fact, in my 33 years of playing I have only used two. I love a classic blade style and used a Ping Zing 2Fe for many years. When my father passed away I had his Scotty Teryllium Newport refurbished at the Custom Shop and have been using that as a tribute and simply a beast of a putter. Can’t get enough of the balance and buttery feel of the ball off the face.

Never really went down the putter rabbit hole, bought a TaylorMade del monte 7 last year, face balanced to better fit my preferred stroke. Prior to that used a TaylorMade Rossa blade, bought at sports authority for 40 bucks, probably 15 years ago.

After several different putters, I've settled on my Evnroll ER2B. 33" with a Gravity Grip. I love how soft it comes off the face for a non-insert putter. I feel like it a forgiving putter for off-centered hits, and ever since I switched my grip, I feel like I've increased my 2 putts % dramatically.

Ok that’s good to know. Did you do the whole fitting process for the DF2.1 ? If so,what were they measuring? Yeah ping was tossing a bunch of wild looks. I haven’t used another one since but the anser and pld look sharp. I had to google the doc17 but I remember it now. The big ole half moon.

Yes, I did the fitting. Very easy. I filmed with my phone and made notes on what I liked in the past.  Measured the putter I used and then sent it off. Their system that they have came back an inch shorter and a 67 lie. It was one of their standard builds.  I know golf galaxy is carrying them now for right handers but I would do fitting and then purchase local if you don't want to wait the 4-6 weeks.

I love mine now that I have gotten used to it.

That’s awesome, I will probably pull the trigger at some point, just so many options out there.  I was golfing out of town and got a rental set that had basic Wilson putter and I was on fire 🔥 so I question the need some times haha

I was a Scotty Cameron nut my whole life and felt like the lineup had got "stale" to me so I took the plunge and ordered a custom putter and haven't been disappointed. GOODWOOD makes great affordable sticks, very impressed with customer service and how the outcome of the product.
