I am still liking my Odyssey Tri Hot 5K 2 putter, but went and hit some putts with the new Odyssey AI-ONE #1CH and it felt pretty good, not good enough to knock the Tri-Hot out. The AI-ONE head felt a little bit heavier than my Tri-Hot, the insert felt the same to me and I am an insert person.

Got this BB1 off Callaway Preowned with no pic for $69. No idea which model it was. It was the 2016 one with the Green accents and was dinged up. Didnt like the green so I did a full refinish, Stripping, sanding and polishing and redoing paintfill and new grip.

I have stopped swapping putters and this is my guy now. Just an overall solid putter and love the chorded flat front grip I located and the feel and roll is fantastic.

 I designed my own putter in Fusion360 then had it milled out. It was my first attempt and making an Anser and Newport 2 clone to test the sampling and productive capabilities of a manufacturer.

I didn't realize the 3 circle dots were actually Scotty Cameron's trademark, so for the version I do plan on selling eventually, that was replaced, and I added some QOL additions like M20x1.25 weight ports, a default weight of the head of 305g, and some CG adjustment to align with the geometric center of the sight line.

I’m rocking a pxg Clydesdale. It does fine and I’ve always done well with almost any putter given enough time. I love the alignment aid on this is the main reason I’m gaming it.

I just went from the Evnroll EV2 with BGT Stability Fire Shaft over to the LAB DF3 with BGT Stability Tour ONE shaft as this will be my gamer for 2024. Already practicing my fist pump

A couple of months ago, a young man asked me to change the grip on his Scotty Cameron Phantom 11.5 X putter.  I was so impressed with this putter that I purchased a used one in excellent condition and sold my SC Select Fastback and TM Spyder X.

These two are my favorites at the moment.

My new PRGR Silverblade short slant mid-mallet

 

And My Sizemore SB-2 with the UST freq Filtered putter shaft

I had to put my other putters in a different location so I dont keep swapping them around just because. Just these two, this season. Give me strength. Both have a 80 G counterbalance weight. PRGR is just a weight installed in the top of the shaft and covered w grip and the Sizemore has the SS counterbalance. The feel on the SB-2 is amazing but I love the shape of mid-mallets like the PRGR, or Toulon Atlanta and some Scotties especially with a short slant and Im more consistent with that one by a little on short putts. 

Also a fan of the lesser known and uncommon

Hello All,

For years and years I used whatever I had around, an old Odyssey 2 ball for the most part with some blade style flat sticks mixed in. I stay up to date on the latest and greatest equipment, and have been fiending for an Evnroll, but the price always shook me. After some research I actually found an older Rife ‘General’ and have used it for about 6 months now. It is forgiving and has the same roll groove tech as you see in Evnrolls, I have really enjoyed it thus far.

It isn't the same tech.  The Rife advertises forward roll which is supposed to reduce skidding.   The EvnRolls have a groove pattern that is designed to reduce dispersion bye creating consistent ball speed across the face.

I got to use one in a hole a few years ago when i played with one of the owners and loved it. Ran into them at the golf show and when i hit a gee long putts and saw the price( i had to pick it up.

I have one of these as well and have used it a few rounds so far.  The roll for me was so immediate that it seems to come off the face extremely fast which was something I had to get used to.  On the putting green I ended up blowing a few short putts way by the hole until I got adjusted to the speed the ball came off the face.

I am currently gaming a LAB Mezz Max and apparently I am a sucker for putters because I have been looking at both the LAB DF3 and the Taylormade Spider Tour T3 for a potential putter run off!

Currently gaming Scotty Phantom X 5.5. Had the Newport 2 with BGT Stability shaft in the bag all last season. Gamed the Jailbird 38” for a few rounds. Great for me from 6 ft and in, but lengthier putts were an issue (hard to judge speed, prob just not used to White Hot insert). Still searching for something on the greens, definitely not my strong suit. It’s 100% the archer not the arrow, but I’m pretty sure archers have a few arrows in the quiver they’ll use…right?


Could probably spend some time on the putting greens this season and take time off from the range. Good thought. Most likely won’t happen.

This is my gamer for the better part of a decade I think, but I just bought a 2-Ball blade broomstick to try out and I got about 2 minutes on the practice green to try it before a temper tantrum forced us to leave.  Now I'm staring at 6" of fresh snow and just a wish and a hope.  Looking at a LAB but I want to figure out if I want to go broomstick or not before I dive head-first

Been using an Odyssey Backstroke for about 10 years now.  Love it.  Love a putter with a centreline shaft, like the shaft directly behind the ball as I find it easier to hit without pulling/pushing it to one side.  Everyone who has tried it loves it but backstroke type putters are hard to find now.  Surprises me a little because I think more putters should have a centerline shaft. seems the logical place to put it to me.

I use an Odyssey 2 ball Ten. Really like it, especially on lag putts but I need to improve on my short putts. I’m interested to see how the Runner I’m about to test compares
