The scores are rolling in...and they are all pretty good so far.  I'll be helping out @GolfSpy TCB by recording all the scores. 

As a reminder, because this is match play, I need to have not only your hole-by-hole score, but par and handicap for each hole as well.  That's how we'll be applying your course handicap to the appropriate holes.  

So when you post, make sure it has those elements.  We've got 64 golfers and it will take a bunch of extra time to have to look up each course you all played.

Growing up my wife was a Jets fan as she lived on Long Island not too far from Shea Stadium.  Fortunately, with some effort and time (we've been married over 40 years), she saw the light and may be even more of a Bills fan than I am!

I played last evening in what turned out to be practice due to the course being too slow & crowded and darkness.  In the few holes we played I wasted an eagle but saved all my questionable decisions and birdies for tomorrows match play round!!

Well Boys, there’s a new sheriff in town and he has organized his posse using the players from formerly known as ……. the only one without an official name. We are bringing law and order to this Match Play Event, and we are the Golf Cart Posse. It looks like our first order of business is to clean up the Push Cart Mafia.

As the team captain for Questionable Judgement, I figured I had to go out and fire a number while also setting an example for others to follow. 
#1- Short dog leg right. Of course I fire the driver playing a big cut. Not enough cut and went through the fairway but made par anyway. 
#2- Uphill par 5 playing 510 into a mild breeze. Had to try to rip a drive giving me a shot at getting home in two. Almost put it OB but was able to punch out and hit a edge on. Made par. 
#3- Short downhill par 4. Smart play is long iron or 3-wood off the tee. So I took out the driver, naturally. Buried myself behind a tree but was able to hit a low runner onto the green and made par. 
#4- 200 yd par 3 over water into the wind. Held on for dear life on the tee shot and happily walked away with a three putt bogey. 
#5- Pretty straight forward par 4. Made a pretty straight forward bogey. Ugh.  
#6- Anither shirt par four and another damn par. Missed every stinking putt within 6 inches so far (except for #4). #7- Par 3 over water. Tried to muscle a 9-iron when I should have hit an easy 8-iron. Lagged the 50 foot putt within 2 feet and patted myself on the back with a par.   
#8- Only real highlight of the day. Finally hit pay dirt with a 5 foot birdie putt. Thank god one finally went in. 
#9- Follow a birdie with another stupid bogey. God how I hate this game sometimes.  
#10-14 Just a bunch of lousy pars because all my putts are missing by less than a foot . 
#15- Starting to feel the heat and humidity now. Feeling faint. Run my first putt 10’ long in frustration after missing all my birdies putts. Three putt bogey. 
#16- One last attempt at a big drive fails miserably. Punch out from the trees hits the 150 yard marker stake and kicks right. Went for the hero shot bug slicing 6-iron into the wind. Didn’t slice, wasn’t heroic, went over the green. Stupid bogey.  
#17&18- Last two holes were a blur. Bad chips and mediocre putts rescued what was left of my round. Walked to the car miffed I was worse in my last 4 holes than I was for the first 14. But still managed a net -1 total score. Let’s go!!!

Thanks Hasty... Just want to verify your course handicap... I looked up the slop/rating for Empire Ranch (White Tees) and plugged your stated handicap index (14.2) into GHIN and received this as your course handicap. 

I may have some incorrect assumptions (your current index, or the tees played for example).  Let me know if any assumptions need changed.

Hey we played from the tournament tees which was one back from the whites. I think it was a 15 for those. Sorry for the confusion.
