I wouldn’t think so since all of the align grips would technically be non-round.

It is a big odd looking though, that’s for sure.

I happen to have the golf channel on and the show playing lessons from the pros is on and the guest is Matthew Fitzpatrick.  He uses the flat cat on his driver as a training aid to help him feel square.

Sorry for the lack of golf related posts lately. But here’s another one.

I think I’m going to get myself a little 28 gauge clay pigeon/wing shooting plinker.

Used to love shooting clays, but always used a 12 gauge with full bird shot.

I think the little 28 gauge would be good for longer days of shooting.

Also... I really need to play a round of golf. I hit some PW’s out in the yard today, distance control was on point.... someday.

I am just sorry you have to witness all this golf talk from us and are not able to dabble yourself. Shooting will help stress relief though PEWPEW

@PMookie @cnosil does he just use it as a training aid or in competition as well?

28g would sure make a long day a little easier on the shoulder, but you may have a little trouble finding ammo.  It’s not the easiest to find in my area.

You just need a partner and you can work on both. No need for the clay pigeons!

I never shot a 28 ga. A 20 ga dbl was my bird gun of choice, 12 ga for skeet/clays.

Had many revolvers thru the years 38 special my favorite when I had to carry. Shot 22 Hi Standard target for many years. Right now shoot 38 occasionally at local indoor range and SWMBO shoots also, not very often.
Don’t want to get anyone nervous w gun talk but where I grew up you had a 22 rifle when you were 10.

This is awesome. My pops taught me how to shoot skeet with a golf ball wiffle ball and a little pump BB gun with the sights filed off.  Makes clays look like a beach ball!

 

Side note:  Have to give a to the golf pro for the trigger awareness

I only get nervous when people don’t know what they are doing. But I also get nervous when people don’t know how to drive, or cook, or anything else.

It is crazy.  Trying to find .32acp rounds is similar.  Far and few between and pricey when you do.  It seems some older calibers are becoming relics.

Father in law had reloaders for all the various gauges;  tons of powder, lead, etc.   He would spend hours in the garage just reloading.

It is crazy.  Trying to find .32acp rounds is similar.  Far and few between and pricey when you do.  It seems some older calibers are becoming relics. 

Some of the older calibers are gone. The brass has become important for the reloaders.

I love shooting my 28 I go through 2 plus cases of ammo a year dog training. I shoot steel mainly out of it which makes it really expensive. For price a 20 is better and still fun but it is a few bucks a box cheaper.

I'm looking into getting a 22 rifle and a 9mm handgun for the house.  I loved skeet shooting the few times I went.
