Are steel frame houses common in the area? We still have wood frame, and if the glass broke you wouldn't see it from that shot

I guess I'm more thinking of steel products, like appliances. It just seems a little odd to me.

What has a lower burning point, green wood or steel? There is absolutely nothing left of the houses. You would expect to see all kinds of metal products but you really see nothing. A forest fire doesn't just melt glass and metal...

as far as I know steel doesn't burn but hot enough will distort/melt.

Feel bad for those folks in CA. That's gotta be freakin horrible to go thru.

Also the houses have extra fuel, ie, natural gas, chemicals to make the fire hotter locally (the house itself)

They're heading to the S.E. part of the country, so if ya get a chance I recommend seeing em.

Jones Beach is a GREAT venue .. have seen Jimmy Buffet there and the scene in the parking lot is almost as much fun as the show on stage!

They last time we Saw Kansas 5 years ago Foxwoods in CT. They are still good. Probably been to 5-6 of their concerts.

Rant: Where is the cold weather, I need the season to end!!

 

Random: I've got myself a catch 22 situation going on.

 

Happy: I will have new irons come this offseason... hopefully!

 

So, I use my PayPal as my golf fund account. Any extra money I make (online work, flipping, etc) goes to PayPal. I've been wanting some i200s for a while, and I can finally get them.. almost. With the trade-in value of my G25s, and said golf funds, I won't need any extra. Downside is, once I trade those in I won't have any clubs for probably a month (except some crappy top-flite irons). Annddd, I'm really enjoying golf right now, so it's a bad time. 🤣

 

I can/cannot wait for winter.

Get the irons (I loved the i200's when I hit them at Ping last February); spend a month with your wedges and putter, and you will see a noticeable improvement in your game when the irons arrive.  Optionally if you want to be on the course, play driver and woods/hybrids off the tee, then drop at different wedge distances and play from there.  Again, think of it as focused practice.
