Mizuno Masters irons Collectors Series FORGED graphite shafts, irons 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 SW, PW, FW Are this rare? Worth much? I think they may be from 96. Cant find much info on.

Very cool clubs!! Apparently made for the JDM, it was a line like JPX or MP. No idea of value though.

Not sure of the value or rarity, although I have seen a set of Mizuno musclebacks the had the Masters logo on them from around the same time period.

 

Considering they are NOS, limited edition, forged Mizunos, I wouldn't let them go for less than a grand if it were me. Some Mizuno collector might pay a pretty penny for them.

That is pretty awesome but I wouldn't want to hit them which decreases their direct fun value, but not their awesomeness value.

I did a little digging and still came up with nothing. These were clearly played and sold at auction for $512

From my guess, I'd say they're some sort of JDM and those SMEs may be able to help out more. That being said, you're certainly lucky you've got them in the plastic still.

Thank you I really appreciate all the help, this should def help. Not sure yet if I going to keep, if I can find a nice case I might keep, if I decide to sell is there a good golf action site anyone would recommend? Ebay?

eBay is usually a good place for that. I'd list the set as a BiN that accepts offers so you can at least take a stab at getting top dollar. After a month or two, that's when I'd put them up for auction but you'd have to be OK with taking a less than ideal amount. You've definitely got a leg up on your listing since they're still in wrappers. Just make sure you take a lot of pictures and completely fill out your listing.

 

Food for thought: I did a search on eBay for sold Masters irons and there wasn't many hits. This indicates there might not be much of a market for these due to lack of exposure so patience really will be key.

I have a small collection of Jordan basketball shoes and my son tells me they are meant to be worn.

If your going to keep them you should totally play them.

Great looking clubs! I have never owned mizunos, however, the next time I am in the iron market I think I will take a serious look at a set. The couple clubs I have hit have been fantastic. As others have mentioned, put those awesome irons in a display case!
