Swingers Golf Coming to US

According to this article (link) from Forbes, there's a new style of mini-golf coming to the US. Has anyone been to one of the Swingers locations over in the UK? Would love to hear about your experience, otherwise we might need to get a group of members close to the DMV area to plan a trip and "course review"

What are your thoughts? Silly and dumb, or inspired and fun?

Interesting concept, Looks very cool and would definitely go for a fun night out.....they should reconsider the name though lol, makes me think some menage trois + but hey thats just me lol.

In a way, this strikes me as something like the TopGolf experience, which added decent food and adult beverages to a semi-competitive driving range.  Now they're adding food and adult beverages to putt-putt, while banishing all those pesky children.  My reaction is similar  as well, it seems interesting, and would probably be fun, but I'm unlikely to go out of my way to do it.

BTW - Top Golf has added putt-putt to some locations (like the one in Richmond).

An old hotel in downtown Richmond that converted to condos built a really cool, hotel-themed mini golf course in their basement with F&B - Hotel Greene.  And it's the best of both worlds, all ages before 5pm, 21 & over after 5.  It's a blast.
