Great season everyone and thanks to the Commish for keeping up with all my (and others) hack scores during the season. This was probably my best and only chance to top 10 so I will take it. Really it was just fun to participate. Thankfully my handicap has inflated over the winter (knocking on the door of a 7) so maybe it will get easier to shoot some better scores. Who knows?

Congrats, Teammate! Hah! I'll happily take all the credit for your play - teaming with me (that one time where we didn't play so well cough cough) CLEARLY was the inspiration you needed to put it all together!

This thing is so much fun - I'll be (fingers crossed) able to play nearly every week going forwards, so hopefully you'll get a little competition from me in Season 2

I’m switching courses this year, one where the fairways are flatter, harder, and faster so I can win some more weekly long drives! At 54 I need to pick-up any advantage I can to compete!!!

Huge thanks to @Golfspy_TCB  As I told him previously, this is one of the coolest and probably most labor intensive things any MOD has undertaken since I've been on the site. It is a tremendous added value to the site.  As other have said, it maybe motivates you to get our and play a round and post it here and see how you've done among othe spies.  So well done TCB, we can't thank you enough.

What's this long drive you speak of, it's something I'm a not familar with

These last few days have been incredible!  This past weekend, forum ranking reached the 500 level.  Today I was selected as one of the four testers for first big review of the year:  Callaway Paradym irons.  Then later in the day I find out that won first MyGolfSpy Forum Cup!  

IT CANNOT GET BETTER THAN THIS!

I haven't gotten out yet, but there were people on the course last weekend because it was unseasonably warm.  Got a ton of rain the last 2 days so I'm guessing courses will be closed this weekend too.

I actually disassembled my irons to change the SW and need to finish re-installing the shafts into the heads....hopefully that gets done tonight or tomorrow.

What a win @Golf2Much and so many good things all at once!  A little like my own run of good things all at once in PGA HOPE WNY land, but yours is MGS Forum and that is awesome 

Woohoo!!  Pulled off 13th place and that was with not being able to post a single score after mid November    My new "home course" for 2023 has more vertical, deeper roughs, fairways that curve and dip out of sight than the "old course" and I have in no way played it enough to be able to navigate and strategize the holes yet, so this will be a real thinking year for for all the courses I like to play at least once each year.  And seriously friends, I expect the rest of you spies to keep me where I should be in 13th place (my lucky number because in opposite world everything is backwards, just like physics )

For most of the year I don't have a weather advantage, so I'm expecting to "come back to reality!"  When you play three times a week, there's a pretty good chance you can get lucky at least once a week for most weeks. 

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.  The problem is that you can't always rely on luck!
