Good morning Spies on another chilly Michigan morning. Supposed to get to mid 20's today, so that will feel like a heat wave, and so far there is some sunshine outdoors too.

Still planning on doing some real world computer work today and watching the last 2 divisional playoff games. 

Really thought the Packers may have pulled off the upset yesterday, but it wasn't to be. @Jnoble89 should be proud of the way his team performed this year, and their future looks bright.

Saw parts of the American Express and pretty amazing an amateur has a 4 stroke lead going into the final round.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, no matter what may be in your plans or on your agenda.

Morning all,

As with others, I'm keeping my fingers firmly crossed that today is (as forecast) the last day of the current cold snap. -1f currently, with a high in the 20s. Rainy 50s forecast for the coming week. I'll take that and so will my dog I'm sure.

Heading out for a short dog walk then have to go on an unplanned trip to our factory to get something shipped out. That eats into my booked sim time today, but should still get an hour or so swinging clubs.

Good to see Rory get over the line earlier. Now hoping for that young college sophomore to relax, play well and win! What a story that already is and could be...

Good morning MGSpies from sunny winter cold in WNY with Veteran curling  at noon and lots of time for what I want to get into  will be doing similarly to what @Byrnzee @bens197 and others will be doing this afternoon and will probably hear the sound from the stadium to the south, a neighbor fires a percussion cannon when Bills score, and that's all I'm saying about that as a Bills 90's Superbowls survivor, this could be the year of great healing for the older community.  Time for coffee  hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning everyone. Last cold wake up for the foreseeable future. Next up on Mother Nature’s list of evil tricks will be highs just barely above freezing with lows a little below freezing triggering a nasty melt/freeze cycle for the next 10 days. As if driving in heavy snow wasn’t bad enough, now we can look forward to sheets of ice for the morning commute. Oh well. I guess I should just be happy with the warming trend and perhaps the chance to see green grass again. Hopefully some more time on a putting green at least before the end of the month?!?! Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Good morning Spies,

Up with a travel cup this morning. My Sweetie returned from her snowshoeing trip last night. I ran out this morning to get some cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Drove through a gentle snowfall. On the way home I was nicely tucked in behind a couple of snowplows kindly clearing my way. 
A most nerve wracking final minute of the Niner game last night. I couldn’t watch the last minute. . I was burdened with the knowledge that they were 0-30 when trailing in the 4th. I’m not sure that “knowledge is king” is entirely accurate. Good luck to @EasyPutter and the Bills Mafia. “Break a table” as they say. I think.

Like @ParFore74x said, it's also the last day for frigid temps here where it's currently sitting at 10°. I think we're looking at getting highs this week in the high 50's although we're looking at a rainy forecast. 

My wife has me under a strict "you're not doing anything today" rule to let my feet recover from going back to work and having to wear new safety shoes. We went to ESD at the start of the year and since the selection was slim in wide widths, the pair I bought are not comfortable. Might have to go buy another pair.

It's all good, looking at the Kingsmill counter, we're down to less than 130 days until an amazing golf trip.

I can relate. My feet were designed by committee. Finding a EEE width is certainly a challenge. Feet up on the couch sounds like the way to go.

Trying to find a wide in anything is one of the most frustrating things I have to do and when you do find something, it's most likely ugly. It's like shoe companies have something against people with wide feet. I know it's probably a percentages game, but c'mon people we need a few more options.

I feel this pain!  You get all black, all white or all gray. Find 4E shoes is the worst. 

Golf and running are New Balance and tend to have the most options.

Enjoying my easygoing weekend with FABWIFE and the dogs as I let my back rest.  Thanks to an orthopedist friend who squeezed me in to see him Friday, I can now stand upright and take steps without spasm-induced epithet streams.  Thank goodness.

Happy Sunday everyone! It looks like Tuesday might be the day I finally get in the course in 2024. The high is near 40° which is a big step up from the teens it has been all year so far. If all goes well (meaning work doesn’t interfere) I should get two rounds in before the weekend and potentially one more on Saturday if the rain stays away!

Yeesh .... who's bright idea was it to come North from Florida this time of year?

6 degrees right now, but perfectly sunny - if not for that temp would be a beautiful day on the course.  Tomorrow will be warmer, Tuesday may be my best shot at a round this week - in the high 40's / low 50's with still some sun on Tuesday.  The rest of the week is projected rain.

I love our mountain retreat but when I can play golf in Florida but cannot play in Georgia it gets me wondering if it's that great a deal.  I've considered selling the place and buying a condo in St. Augustine but haven't yet convinced the better half of the benefits of that idea.

I'll get a workout in one way or another - probably chip around the yard if it gets into the 20's.

Disagree,  time is dragging by for me.  

Good morning everyone;  another cold day so no golf today.   Went to the golf store yesterday and hit a few of the new irons (Blueprint S and Mizuno Pro).  Had to stop after about 15 shots due to chest pain; still bothering me this morning.  H Guess it will be a sit around and watch TV kind of day.   Really want the next 10 days to go quickly so I can get the surgery done and see if it resolves my issue and then start the recovery to get ready for the Kingsmill trip.

Change of plans for the day. Wife and kid decided that I was not needed for their shopping trip today so I am home alone…with the dogs of course. Plenty of time for some putting practice and a few things around the house.

Good Morning everyone!!  Well, it's 31º and we had freezing rain all night.  Police are saying Don't drive!!  The freezing rain is supposed to stop in an hour or so and turn to just rain.  View from our patio...

Morning spies!

It is a cloudy 58° out in Long Beach, California today. It is going to be raining off and on but it hasn't for a while so I am going to get a few errands in. Tomorrow the rain is going to be heavy all day, figured I would get it done today. Excited for an early tee time Tuesday. I have a feeling I am going to be one of the only people out there in my waterproofs which arrive tomorrow! Anyways, have a great day spies! Stay warm and dry!

Good Sunday morning all. 

I will second @Javs comments regarding crap weather and the rest of the week shows no signs of getting better...

Time spent with daughter yesterday on her journey for a new vehicle was surprisingly enjoyable as we had the opportunity to talk about various subjects between dealerships. As usual, I'm sure I tested her patience more than once but that is at it should be... 

Hopefully the weather will let up enough this week to get a range session in.

A rainy weekend here in Baja, Mexico. Gonna watch some football and golf so all is not lost. Hoping for a break in the rain on Tuesday so I can get back out there.

Good morning all. Raining right now in Mesa and like every day in Mesa we need the rain.  Plus the rain Michael.Sandoval33 is seeing we will see in a day or so. Will make for some muddy conditions and some very loud sniveling by those forced to walk from the inevitable cart path only call tomorrow and Tuesday. 

I have started a thread in Breaking News and Debate on recovering from being angry on the course (bad shot, guy in the foursome who wont hang up his phone and play, things like that) and would be interested in your thoughts for a project I am working on.
