Good morning and Happy Friday folks.

Nothing new to report. I'm hoping for a easy day to end the work week but with month-end close I doubt that will be the case. coffee is strong and keeping me going. it's my birthday this weekend so I'll be having some fun with family and friends and then off to Vermont next week for a work trip.

Morning All,

Today I had to drop off my vehicle to get an alignment done...Thankfully that won't cost a thing since I got the Lifetime alignment package 2 years ago. Probably the smartest thing I've done for my car outside of the normal maintenance you should do. Hopefully a short day is in for today, trying to go to the range a little bit to get ready for tomorrow.  Hope everyone has a good day.

Thanks! It is March so I think Irish coffees are acceptable? haha

I'll be in Burlington, my boss and CFO are from there so they want us to travel to them for a whiteboard session to go over 2024 KPI planning.

Good morning all! It’s Friday, so that means a golf match at the club today at 10:30. I really need to lock in as my last 6 rounds have been a bit up and down with my average on the front nine being 7 over and my average on the back nine being 3.5 over. However, I switched to Aim Point putting and am on just week 2 of it and I’m starting to see some pretty cool progress so hopefully that helps today! I could use some confidence before the tournament tomorrow lol

Good morning Spies! Happy first day of March! The long-awaited day to clean out the garage has finally arrived. GF talked me into getting a bigger truck to avoid making two trips at a dollar a mile. She's probably right, but I didn't want to hear it last night. Hard for me to remember what's under all that cardboard. One broken down couch, two defunct barstools and a decrepit box spring, I know that. We'll see what other surprises await, and if any of them are worth keeping.

I had not actually heard of Ghost Golf until yesterday; went to see their website. Don't think I'll be ordering any of their bags but they look nice. Maybe this weekend I will get a look at the community call video to get the story.

Looks like the old line about March coming in like a lion is true for a good part of the country. Saw some video from the Sierras this morning. Yikes!

Hit 'em straight, those who can! Me, I'll just keep the ibuprofen handy.

Good morning spies and happy Friday! Temps should hit 50 today but gusting winds. The weekend is bringing 60s both Saturday and Sunday, and the course will be open all weekend. I am hoping to go out once just taking the boys out and driving them around so they can play while I sneak in a few wedges and putts here and there, and then maybe get a round in with some friends on Sunday. Will depend on how generous SWMBO is feeling 

Course isn't on a full open schedule yet, that won't be for another few weeks, but will be open on select days where the weather looks good and the super feels the course can handle it.

Good Friday morning Spies!

Well, this morning is already warmer than yesterday's high as I sit here enjoying my morning coffee. Looking to creep back into the 70's today. Yesterday called for three layers of clothing and the winter gloves to do battle with the elements... For the life of me, I don't know why and still working on determining how, but I broke 80 (79) yesterday for the first time since returning to the game last year! 

@Dead Solid Bogey Glad to hear you find yourself in such a good place, even if you are deemed "quite the hardass."  

@Erin B Good luck with the tournament and enjoy time spent with fellow Vets.

Morning MyGolfSpy Nation, just finished up work and getting excited, once I finish my work week Tuesday morning, off to the course, supposed to be 62* and sunny, Then I will be on vacation until the 29th, had 110 hours to use by the 31st. Got some honey to do projects that need to get done.. but Golf is a priority at the course.. not simulated.

Good morning everyone. About to hit the road for our road trip to Milwaukee for one last weekend of wheelchair basketball. Gonna miss out on the warm weather this weekend for golf but by this time next week it will be spring break and the weather is looking great for a few rounds outside. Good morning spies!

Rough start to the day as our dog had a seizure this morning after our walk. This happens occasionally and he's on medication, but it's never an easy thing to witness. Hoping for a fairly uneventful day from here on out after that.

Saw that AK shot a 76 in his return with LIV. Honestly was expecting worse, but he's still DFL in the field. Luckily for him, there's no cut 

Hoping to catch qualifying for the F1 race in about an hour. Should be pretty exciting and hopefully we'll see some competition at the front.

Busy workday ahead to close out the week. Dinner reservation at my favorite pizza place tonight with some friends so that'll be something to look forward to.

Golf lesson tomorrow, which I've been looking forward to for a while.

It's a cool Friday morning with rain forecast for most of the day. I'm just sitting in my car working up the motivation to walk into work. 

I really enjoyed the community call yesterday with the founder of Ghost Golf. It's always good to get to see everyone on the weekly call. 

I'm planning on stopping at the store on the way home to pick up what I need to smoke a meatloaf and some cream cheese. I've never tried to smoke cream cheese, but I figured I might as well put something extra in there if I'm going to fire it up.

I made it to the doctor today and it was basically a visit with the PCP to get a referral to a dermatologist. They put in a request with in at a local hospital and did mark it as urgent. I didn't get much more information than that but at least it's a start. I'll be waiting on a phone call to find out when my next appointment is. Hopefully the urgent will get their attention. 

I want to thank each and every one of you who had encouraging words for me and my wife, we appreciate it more than you know. It's a bit of a scary time for us and the support from you all is wonderful.

Love a good KPI session, any other good business terms in there. Will the be any level setting, getting on the same page, synergy, talking a pulse check?

Be careful with that weight loss. 6 pounds in a week without trying to lose weight could be a harbinger of something bad. If you lose more weight quickly this week it will be time to go see the doc.

That is a good game, thankfully I am a bit too low in the org to have too many meetings with those word popping up but had a meeting with someone last week where we tried to wedge in as many as we could that was fun

Good morning spies!

Well, I woke up this morning to what seems to have become a yearly occurrence since high school... Turf toe... My doctors have told me that it's related to my football knee injury, but the knee is not bad enough to warrant surgery. And the cycle continues unfortunately.  So besides a few errands, nothing for me on the books today. Going through the thread and it looks like it's almost time for it to be in full gear for everybody to get out and golf. Looking forward to hearing all about how the season goes for everyone as it is my first season and I'm excited! Anyways, I need some coffee.

Good morning spies! Off to the course today for another walkable round. Have to get the walking in now as the temps are climbing. 76 today. In a month they will be 86 in two, 96 and I will spend the summer riding around in my golf cart. After 95 degrees I just can't carry enough water to continue to walk. 

Anybody work with the My Chevrolet app? Yesterday on our way to orange picking the check engine lite came on in my 2023 Colorado. In my 2017 Colorado I could cycle through the menus and find the issue on the dashboard. This new one I must use the app (for which you have to pay for). This app is hands down the most useless thing I have ever been forced to put on my phone. It never works unless I uninstall the reinstall, then I have to go through all the crap about how it works, and then through all the stuff Chevy wants me to buy before I could find out my tire pressure was low. Yep, a check engine light for low tire pressure. How dumb is that. 

The sinical part of me says Chevy has built the app this way to force you to go through their "buy me" stuff. 

Ah well nothing earth shattering about a crap app.

bummer start to the day... had to return my 2023 Nissan Maxima SV rental car (300 hp!) for my 2013 Toyota Highlander (borrrrrrring!). Made me realize how much I miss sports cars.

But - 2 hours scheduled on the sim with a buddy and then out to the dinner with the wives afterwards. A good finish to the day planned.

Played similar game in the world of academia especially when it was a meeting called by the Dean or a VP.  Had a colleague who believed that any meeting over 5 minutes long that didn’t include an item requiring a vote should have been replaced with an e-mail.  Most times he was correct.

I am looking forward to great weather here in SW Ohio this weekend and some range time. I also scheduled a Taylormade fitting experience this morning for early May at my local GC. It's a ways out, but I am looking forward to it since it will be my first one.

Absolutely love Corolla. Was there 15 years ago and still remember it fondly. Good luck finding the wild horses!
