Weather in Chicago continues to be chilly and windy. Hoping the sun and warmer temps return soon (especially for the St. Paddy's celebrations next weekend).

Was able to get a simulator session in last night. Was hitting the ball extremely well and shot even par for 9 holes. Still some things in my swing I'm trying to improve on, but overall I'm very happy with how I'm currently hitting it.

 

If you are anywhere around Highwood let me know, come by the sim and hit some balls if you like. Trackman update today has some cool new features too. Cheers

Had a good range session this morning. By good I mean I didn't hurt myself or anyone close to me... In all seriousness ball striking is improving, but still a long way to go.

On a more important note, when I got home my Shot Scope H4 was waiting for me.  As I have been setting everything up, I have a question for anyone who uses this tracking system and has a putter with the Super Stroke grip. How did you attach the sensor to your grip? The weight port, which I don't use is the perfect deterrent to installation design...

Any suggestions are appreciated. TIA

You could buy the Superstroke tags from shotscope:  https://shotscope.com/us/products/accessories/putter-tags/

You could do manual putting mode

You could cut the screw portion off the tag and superglue or double sticky tape it to the end of the grip.

Thanks for the feedback.  Didn't see anything about Super Stroke sensor when placed original order but I'll order one this afternoon.

Talked to the guys at HQ last week and they are working on updating the main website so they can publish the driver most wanted results.    Thursday is the day that new forum testing opportunities are announced.

Good morning everyone! 

Waking up and seeing the testing opportunity for the Ping wedges is what I would like to say a good way to start out a Thursday. It should be a fun community call this evening. 

It's a decent morning here and the one day this week we don't get rain. I finally got an appointment set up with the dermatologist for March 25 to find out about this lump on my head.

BIG,Big,big Thursday my fellow spies. Impressive testing opportunity with the Ping wedges. The verbal therapy session known as the Community Call should be very informative as well as fun. 
  Work out here for me is finally coming to an end. A couple of snafus on getting the wrong parts or not ordering parts has caused for plan deviation and work arounds. Should be headed home  late this afternoon, to her majesty and back to being an indentured husband. 
  Here is to hoping that today is one of your liking and enjoyment. Remember, life comes at you in a variety of ways… It is always good to have a plan B / backup plan…

Agreed - was a very nice surprise!  While I haven't been here for too long, it seems like Ping hasn't been tested in some years - excited to see this test!

Good Morning!  I am looking forward to a mellower day…yesterday was our hands-on sessions for rescue task force training at work.  All within the process of becoming qualified to handle active shooter events within the County.  

And when I woke up to see that the S159’s were an eligible testing I thought this is one great way to begin the day.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  Anyways…have a day folks!
