Yep. They've paid us two visits now. Most recent one threatened the $600 fine. Evidently our neighbors have called Animal Control to complain. However, there has also been a white cat roaming the neighborhood who is not part of our menagerie; I have to wonder if the neighbors assume the white one also belongs to us. Come to think of it, though, haven't seen the white cat in a while. Perhaps its owner also got a visit from the Animal Control folks.

I just made it back from the dermatologist and according to him, it's it looks like Actinic keratosis. It's a scaly bump caused by if UV exposure and can turn cancerous in certain situations. 

They numbed the spot and removed it to send off for a biopsy and I should know in a week or two what the results are. 

For now, I have to keep it bandaged and put Vaseline on it.

When I had my basal cell carcinoma removed in 2005, they also removed a couple of AKs and froze some others. They told me the same thing -- that AKs can turn cancerous in some circumstances, thus they decided to deal with them them. that that's all it is.

I am with  everyone else on here wanting you to get a report that the biopsy is negative…… Take care of that sensitive but hard head of yours.

It's crazy, isn't it? I guess that's part of getting a little older and for me, not taking as good of Care of myself as I should. Between the physical aspect of my job and playing golf, it can be rough on us. I'm still hoping they can get you straightened out. I hate seeing someone go through what you've been through.

I want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes!  This community has been great and I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 8 months on here. 

This site is different than any other social media and people on here are kind and look out for eachother, and that's rare in today's world.

Having gone through one kidney removed due to the "C" word hoping all comes back negative. Would not wish that on my worst enemy "God be with you".

Half the battle is over. They removed it and it will heal up. Vaseline on your head well that’s another story. No need looking for a hat in Ross now. It will only slide off your head.

Seriously though, I hope the test comes back okay my friend.

Good morning everyone!

It's a windy morning and there's rain in the forecast for later on today. I'm just glad the rest of the week is looking pretty good. 

My coffee is going down good and hopefully it'll motivate me to get through the long day I have ahead. We have a connector class for about an hour and a half after work I have to stay over for. That's been a big issue at work and they want to go over the basics with us.

Early day and long night with the kids just not sleeping. However the sun is shining and overall a good day. Have some golf equipment on order and should arrive in the coming weeks which is exciting. 

Unfortunately the ticks in our area are awful and even in the back yard we are finding them crawling around and on the dogs. Not fun, but also not much we can do about it.

Good morning Spies on a very wet but warmer Michigan Tuesday.

We need the rain, and it not only will finish off the snow, but also clean the excess salt and dirt from the roads.

Then dry the rest of the week, so maybe real world outdoor golf again on the calendar.

Hope all turns out for the best Jason, @sirchunksalot, and the results come sooner rather than later so there is no additional worries or stress on your part.

Just another normal workday here, pushing to get it all done by Thursday, so I can enjoy a long weekend too.

Wishing the best of luck for your @sirchunksalot and hope the kids sleep and maybe some guinea hens are in order to eat those ticks @GolfSpy_APH.

Here we are playing in the massive snow banks. Currently have 4 tunnels build along the driveway and I am sure the kids will build more today and might be getting a ski in as well. Going to be warm and raining on Thursday so the snow is already moving on with good speed.

Tycho's Source and hot coffee making it a great pause before heading in.  Going to take the umbrella with me as rain is forecasted like in Robert's @rkj427 neck of the woods and looking forward has no S word again other than sunny so thinking golf again! @sirchunksalot fingers crossed that everything goes ok for you and the biopsy comes back negative

@GolfSpy_APH have you tried anything preventative for the ticks? Anything containing permethrin is good and will stop the ticks attaching. 
Hope you manage to catch up on the sleep

Oh we have plenty of stuff for the dogs and are immunized from them, but they still find there way here and into the house which is gross. 

Looking into some other potential options that could help be a barrier from them entering the yard.
