@IndyBonzoI'm glad you were able to get your daughter moved and I feel like hitting movers was a wise choice, lugging furniture is a chore. I've never dealt with IKEA furniture, but have heard the assembly is something else. 

It's also amazing how many spam bots I've been seeing on here early, it's insane.

Good morning MGSpies from summer warmth in WNY on this July Friday with coffee making and network work computer sorting itself out for the heaviest workday of each fortnight (just for you @Northern Monkey ) with payroll due by close of business today.  Tried a couple of chippers one of my Veteran friends had bought intending to return them but hasn't, an Orlinmar 37 degree full sole and a TRS double sided 36 degree, in the front yard yesterday and since he suggested I give them a try to decide which I wanted I'm hoping to get a little more impression which would be better in the bag - I appreciate the versatility of the double face club for right and left hand use in those sometimes difficult lies in close but the hybrid Orlinmar design sure plays nicely.  Hope your weather is completely agreeable and hope golf is a part of your day!

Good morning Spies on a TGIF for those still in the workforce from a partly cloudy Michigan.

Have a tee time for this early afternoon, hoping that the course will be somewhat dry after our recent deluge of rain, or at least playable.

@IndyBonzo hope all goes well with the planned move, and that you can get a round in this weekend too.

@sirchunksalot, Jason just relax and have fun on the course later. Just take it one shot at a time, and don't get frustrated if things don't always go as hoped for. Fun and relaxation after a work week should be goal number 1.

@ILMgolfnut hope you have no issues with your travel back home, and that you have an enjoyable round on Saturday. A trip to the "home of golf" would be a bucket list item for many here on the forum, I am quite sure.

All the rest, have the best day you possibly can, no matter what is on your schedule or in you plans, make it at least something fun and enjoyable.

Good Friday Morning Spies!  

Overcast & muggy again this Central Florida morning, but a little cooler at 75 degrees, lol. time. sipping on first cup of espresso watching the Evian.  

No golf today, Ranger duties  Might hit some balls toddy, watched an old Jack Nicklaus video talking about the setup and found it very interesting, going back to the basics. I will say it did help for the past three rounds, want to keep that feel!

Good morning all, little bit late posting this morning for me as had a busy start to the day with the Boss deciding there were several chores needed doing 1st thing. Thankfully this has left this afternoon free for another round so not a bad thing. 
Played yesterday and the driver was absolutely awful. Managed to hit 3 balls OB off one tee yesterday Not good when your at 7 off the tee!

Thankfully the Cobra FTs made up for it slightly and my approach play was really good. Gained 5.58 strokes for the round on approach play. The putting was good too, with the Runner back on its best form and managed to sink a few long ones. The longest being a 40 footer which really pleased me. Ended up finishing +16 which was all down to the driver. Hopefully today will be better

Anyone who is interested in checking that item off their bucket list, buzz me. I have all kinds of tips for a Scottish golf trip on a budget.

One item I left off my day's itinerary was a Fit For Golf workout, which is the only one I've accomplished so far. Did a limited workout so as not to beat myself up before tomorrow's tournament.

Good morning Guys, last night leagues were a success as I got the maximum 2 points for our team. My driver was absolutely horrible which came out of nowhere considering it has been good lately. My iron striking was very good and pured more shots then normal. The problem I had with that is that the ball was flying further then expected including a 213 yard 7 iron that normal goes around 175 for me. I feel like I'm starting to get my weight forward through the ball finally.

Morning All,

last day of class for the week and it goes straight into the drill weekend. I’m going to have a full 12 day work week by the time all is said and done. I have another class next Thursday and Friday. So on my way into class I had been listening to the new Eminem Album. I like it, but I’ve been a fan of his for a long time now. Anyway, new driver head should arrive today, I’ll have to pick it up tomorrow when I get out of work.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning Spies,

Happy Friday! Golf yesterday was a washout. I as hoping to get more feels for the swing changes from my lesson. I got through three holes. It was raining lightly at the start and proceeded to get heavier so I walked in. I don’t have rain gear. And given the humidity yesterday I suspect I would have gotten just as wet sweating in the rain gear. LOL. Taking my car in for an oil change this morning. This afternoon my wife and I well head east for an overnight stay. She is competing in an Aquabike race early tomorrow so a hotel stay will beat having to get up at “0 dark-thirty”.

Good morning Spies!

Happy Friday to all who successfully survived the work week. Weather is looking beautiful for today and the rest of the weekend. Looking forward to my tee time on Sunday at a really nice course in the area. I was going to try and hit the range this morning before work, but decided to watch some of the Scottish Open instead. May try to go tomorrow to get a few reps in.

Finally pulled the trigger on the Odyssey Mini Jailbird putter. I had been debating it for a while and bought it for myself as an early birthday present. Very excited for it to arrive so I can put it into play! Says it should ship next week, just hoping that means I also get it next week.

Was another hot one yesterday, but finally got some humidity relief this morning which is very welcomed.

Hoping to get out for some golf this afternoon, just need to find the course to head to.

Good morning everyone. Another loop this after at Arbor and spending my morning planning my next homebrew session on Sunday. Going to make another Hazy IPA as my last one died last week. Eager to receive my new Scotty Phantom 7.5 from @rkj427 Robert. 

Looks like it might arrive before I leave for Arbor Links but with my luck it will arrive shortly after I depart. Oh well, I have all day tomorrow to play with my new toy. Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Just finished up my first of ten 12hr shifts over the next week and a half, gabbed some OT to make some cha-ching! 

My excitement is building everyday waiting for the Exputt to arrive at my from door, estimated around the 16th of the month but you never know with any delivery these days.

Well, got to run to the post office to get a couple of packages out from PUTSOGOLF.

Good morning, Spies!!! Happy TGIFF!!

Lovely morning here, with lots of sunshine which is only matched by the amount of humidity in the air. This is about when we tee off some Sunday morning, which won't be a lot of fun even with the similar temp and sunshine. I'll be dripping by hole 2. Oh well, could be way worse I guess. Rain is in the forecast for next Wed/Th which we do need.

Not much happening here. I'm going to be taking a bit of a drastic measure to real in my weight and eating habits. I'll be starting on Nutrisystem come Monday. I've done this before with great success and I've come to the realization that I'm currently not capable of doing this type of program on my own without actually being on the program. So I'm going to give it another go for at least the next 3 months, and see how I do. I'll be looking for a new gym and a trainer to help with that side of things as well. I'll get a hold of my health one way or another.

Anyway, everyone have a fantastic TGIFF!!!

Hoping I can knock this out relatively quickly.  I think I need a driving range session with my driver.  Something got off last round and was snap hooking the ever loving s*** out of my ball.  Now.... I had that morning worked on the wall for a solid 4hrs+ so I was SUPER stiff and just had no mobility in my back (not hurt just tight and fatigued and sore as hell).

Good morning fellow spies and happy Friday! Got our tee times and pairings for the member/guest last night in an email, so the excitement is building. We will play three 9 hole matches on Saturday and two more on Sunday, and the top two finishing teams of each flight move on to an alternate shot shootout. We will play the back 9 twice tomorrow, which should play to our advantage as it is more open for driver and my uncle plays a really strong game off the tee. I have also been driving the ball better this year, so I am excited for that. Our first match is against the low index of our flight and his partner, which plays to my advantage as I should get a couple pops on some holes. Then our final match tomorrow is against a couple of my friends who made the shootout last year for this flight. I think with a strong showing tomorrow, we can put ourselves in a pretty good position heading into Sunday. 

I got out to play some practice holes yesterday afternoon with my oldest. We made it through 7, but it was HOT and he was tired so we called it. I then went out and played 4 more holes after they went to bed before it got too dark to see. Just continuing to work on ball striking and then how I am going to play different shots inside 100 yards. Really, really excited for tomorrow as I didn't play particularly well last year, but have been playing better since then and have a year of experience in that format under my belt.

After @Cfhandyman and the others did such a fine job on the DF3 review I ordered up a DF3 Armlock. My wife even approved the nearly 700 dollar price tag. Well approved is not correct.  More like just buy the darn thing and shut up about it. 

Went down to the practice area yesterday after my bike ride. Ooooo it was hot and the newly hole punched green was mostly sand covered. I pitched a shag bag onto the putting surface to work on spin but then gave up. All that sand made it difficult to judge distance control. The course was empty (115 when I got home) so I played a few holes until I ran out of water. 

Wild Bunch tees off at 10:30 today and we caught the edge of a monsoon last night. No rain. Just wind and dust. And, if my front yard is any indicator the course will be debris strewn.

Update:  Turns out I am labor.

Moving companies supply their workers no tools at all?  And minimal IKEA furniture disassembly is stupefying?  (I mean, it can be, but to a professional mover?)
