I will be very intersted in this test, I went to free T series fitting and was suggested to get either 200s or split 150/200 set.

Not odd at all. I would encourage you to read the Want To Be A Tester Thread. 

Yes there were two repeat testers in this group. However they both tested products (and completed) which are of a lower dollar value and make them eligible for a potential second test in the season. These items are gloves, golf balls, grips and some other smaller items. 

Despite the fact he did not have to, Ben wrote 3 excellent reviews on all 3 grips when he was only asked to do 1. Greg had Red Rooster which was one of our first tests of the season. 

Bottom line we are 34 tests into the season, there is going to be some overlap. However testers who have say done a set of irons already or golf carts that type of thing will not be eligible for another main test this season. Maybe golf balls or something like that, but not another main test. 

I have said it before and I will say it again, testers should only sign up for testing opps they want to take part in because in most cases they will only get one per season. 

There have been over 180 testers this season. 3 of which have had 2 opps this season. 

Last point, they didn't win. They were selected and have a lot of work ahead of them. There is a lot of responsibility with these tests. Not just to provide a good review, but to all members who wish they had this opportunity, to the OEM for providing the equipment, to the forum staff and everyone else involved. The testers which were selected have earned this opportunity... and trust me the decision to leave a few people off this one was tough! It sucks having to make those decisions sometimes, but those who were just short listed and missed out will be sure to get their opportunity soon. They don't know it yet, but their time will come.

It is not a contest, it is not winning, testing takes a lot of dedication and hard work from the tester, and the MSG team wants to make sure that the they can get best available unbiased feedback from the ones who get to test.

Jamie is a lot more eloquent with the same information, a lot of us, me included first came to MGS for the testing opportunities and honestly for the first year and half of applying to be a tester, I did not understand what testing actually entailed and like you, I believed that it was a giveaway type of deal.

There are thousands of sign ups for a handful of spots, and forum participation is key when applying for testing opportunities.

Also look at the testers who were chosen profiles, @bens197, @Ben Joest, @GregB135 and @ole gray have been active on the forum and have contributed with good discussions and previous reviews, which is perfect for such big OEM as Titleist.

I have not participated as much on the forum this year and have no expectations on being picked for any testing this season.

No, I have not lost interest on the forum, I still check in a read almost every day, but life keeps on getting on the way, some mental and physical health issues have been taking a toll on my personal life, I barely have played any golf this year and other aspects of my life are not the same, things are slowly getting better for me with the support of my family and friends.

Titleist have moved the speed boosting Max Impact Core closer to the heel and face of the golf club to improve sound and forgiveness. 

Titleist T350 - The replacement for the T300, the T350 comes in a package that matches the rest of the T-Series much better. It is a larger, more forgiving iron than the T200 and for Titleist is their Ultimate Game Improvement Iron. 

However most all of you know all that and are eager to hear if you were selected for testing!

I will give some background in my intro when I publish that soon, in the interim I wanted to say that this is really a distinct privilege.  The last person I recall testing these 100 series irons was @chisag who is a friend and very reliable source around this page.  He and I share a similar approach to the game and life in general.  Low key, have fun, play golf as best as possible and get out as either a single or within a group as often as the schedule obliges.  

These irons have evolved from the AP line into the 100's and I hope to share my experience and will do my absolute best to be accessible and use media as best as possible to capture what these can and cannot do for your game.  

I'll save more for my intro and my golfing background so please stay tuned!

Do we know if any of them will be fitted by Titleist, especially at either of their TPI locations? I ask since this is high on my list for my 50th next May to fly out to Oceanside TPI for a full bag fitting. I'd love to hear experiences should anyone do such a thing for this review.

We will be working with all the testers to ensure they are fit through an approved Titleist fitter unless they have their specific specs.
