I've been really happy with my current Ventus Blue but I've been looking at the Newton shafts as well as a possible contender to upgrade my older model shaft. This is even better being able to compare the old with the new. Going to be fun! And who knows, I still might try out a Newton at some point down the road.

This should be wild as Ive never been fitted for a shaft.  I did manage to sus out a better driver setting for me, but shaft wise... I was totally guessing when I bought my current setup off ebay haha.

I'm a big fan of the OG Ventus Blue in my 5-wood so I'm really looking forward to seeing some new experiences with this updated version... I love the shade of blue they went with on this too.

Thanks all.  Very, very excited to be part of this test.  This will be my second shaft review for the forum.   It should be very interesting since my experience with the Ventus velocore models is very limited.  I've played the 'made for' blue and red at points over the last couple years so I'm familiar with the profile but my experience with the Velocore models is limited to a very quick driver fit at the end of an iron fitting -- an OG Ventus black 6S on the PXG black ops tour head.  A selection my fitter described as quickly grabbing something with a lot of tip stability that would be similar to the tip stability on my Tensei CK pro Orange.   

I've booked a PXG long game fitting for tomorrow with the same fitter to see about getting some dialed specs for the 2024 Ventus.  Should be interesting.

There is 4 bays of GC quads nearby to me with very reasonable prices.  I will definitely be spending a fair bit of time there in the coming weeks.
