Thing is, Our LM is outside. It is kind of hard to tell someone that the ball is going 285, when it lands on the 210 green....  With a straight face..

I suppose saying its the range balls probably doesn't fly too well either lol

I dont normally go to demo days because that is not my cup of tea so to speak. The few I have been to have used their company brand balls  and top line ones at that not brand spanking new but probably grade "B" so to speak

So I have a question.......lets say a monitor (ForeSight in my case) is showing crazy or even slightly inaccurate distance numbers.  Are there ANY numbers off the screen I can trust...such as Swingspeed.....Launch Angle.....Spin?

I do not have any direct experience with ForeSight, so my input is general in nature. As a rule, I have found that when a LM "misses" a number, it is typically a spin number, and usually by a factor of 2 or 1/2. Swing speed and Ball speed numbers are generally very close.

Forgot about this story till now: Once wet to Golfsmith looking for a new driver: Swear I was told I wasn't good enough to get custom fit and until I was, custom fitting would do nothing. There's a reason that company has a lost a lot of my business the second I found another golf store nearby.

Question is: was it a lazy salesman who didn't want to custom fit, or a guy who has no clue about golf being on the floor?

It's most likely the former.  Let's face it, even if you know nothing about golf and you're in sales and the customer wants to be fit, you're going to try and fit him.   That is if you have even the slightest bit of industriousness in you.

Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60  Aldila  R flex   - 42.25 inches

SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft

Ping G410 7, 9 wood  Alta 65 R flex

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD
