The black on black is sharp but my vote is for the colorful ones

Fun little find on FB marketplace this week! A (barely used if at all) TaylorMade Burner with Bubble Shaft from 1995! Stiff 90g shaft too. I ordered a BRNR Mini too and I’m pumped for that to come in and show the side by side!

They are upgrades though, not some old TaylorMade junk, pffff

Found a set on market place with irons driver and 5 wood, they were in decent shape but not that nice. I flipped them for more golf  money lol.

I just purchased some Wilson D9 Forged clubs, there was a deal I couldn't pass up, and since I had still been using my Ping I3s I thought it was time for a slight upgrade. Although I love the I3s it will be tough to let them go.

Anyone have any experience/comments on D9s?

Haven't been in any of the local thrift stores for awhile,  so I stopped at one on the way home.

There was a shelf with clubs piled on them.  A copper colored club caught my eye, started sorting through them and found almost a full set of these Pal Joey copperhead irons, 5-9. They are in okay shape, and figured they would make for good tinkering clubs later on. All 5 for $15. Plus they have all the labels on the back of the heads !

I didn't realize the shafts were labeled " ladies" until I got home.  The grips are clean, but smoothed over. The ferrules appear to be set well and intact too.

I can't find much on these other than they are from the 80's and are from a company called dynapower.

I really hate to pull off matching labeled grips, so if anyone has any info how to refurbish the grips to be usable, I'm all ears!

Needed a 'lower' option so grabbed a new head and a shaft for less than $80 combined. 

Shaft is giving me major Ping G400 colour scheme vibes. 

Still expecting high-ish trajectory, but should get me out from under trees as and when required (and it will be required!)

Nah, I think it's between Gen's, just called a 'Proto' but think it came before the Gen4. Thankfully it hasn't got the Gen4 silver panel on top.

The shaft was a bust. Callaway mislabeled the shaft and it's a LIN-Q Purple, which is a discontinued model and not what I need, so it's going back.
