The fitting experience was very good.  Though hitting off the mat did not give me a true carry distance and may have exaggerated my natural draw.  I have played three rounds with the new clubs.  Ball flight is a much higher trajectory.  I’m having trouble following the ball with my 74 year old eyes.  I was used to watching my line drives!

Just purchased a set of brand new PXG 0211DC 4-GW heads only along with 2 new 0311 forged wedge heads only (54 & 60).

Going to use my new Recoil Proto 125 F4 shafts I bought a few months ago on these and see where I land. Hoping the graphite will help my elbows along with tighter dispersion and a bit more height. But we'll see once I get them all built up.

Picked up a few things recently.  Three dozen Wilson Staff Model golf balls.  A couple new putter grips to try; one larger than my current and one larger than that.  A few polos and a pair of shorts from the thrift store.  I'm finding myself browsing for things I don't need again...

Picked up a 4i to fill out the top end of my iron set better, Mizuno Pro 223 w/ Modus 3 Tour 115 X shaft. The 5i is so butter and easy to hit I'll replace my 4HY with this baby.

I picked up the Titleist T300's I was fit for this afternoon.  Brought my bag home to get it cleaned up and set up new clubs.  Also added in a Srixon ZX Utility 4 w/ a Recoil shaft to try out.  Hit it well on the course yesterday, going to play 9 tomorrow before work to try out the new irons.  If it isn't a mud pit after all the rain today.

Just regripped all my clubs with the champkey comfortable grips. They look and feel like the dritac grips .Going to test them out this Sunday

You’re gonna love the T300’s. My shot dispersion is so much tighter now as I have gamed these for one year now!

A Tensei ck orange hybrid shaft for my taylormade stealth plus. 
Was thinking it would be a better option than the stock hzrdus red but to my surprise my numbers are better so far with the hzrdus red.  
I desperately wanted the orange to work since its my favorite looking shaft. 
 

Also stocked back up on TM Tour Response balls and grabbed a dozen AVX to try

Just re-gripped all my clubs with the Lamkin Sonar + Midsize Golf Grips.

Read tons of reviews about these so hopefully they do the business, will be playing on Sunday so will add to this with a personal opinion.

Earlier this year I wanted to class up my shoe game. I played around with the MyJoys feature and designed these premiers. I was pleased to see the spikeless option as I really don’t like or need too much grit on the bottom of my shoes. I’m very pleased with the immediately soft and supportive fit.

A set of Sub 70 699 V2s with Recoil 660s and upgraded ferrules ...

I really like the way they pack the clubs in the two slotted foam holders (plus extra pieces of foam at each end of the box). Not crazy about the hat colors but funny enough it's close to NY Mets and Islanders colors, so there's that

There's no grip on the 7i as I also picked up a Dragon Skin "Calm Dragon" .. ie. tacky feel .. to try on it. Got it installed today and gonna try it within the next few days (informal member review to follow).

 

This is the first time I've seen the head weight shown on each iron!

 

So I do kinda like the industrial look of these .. I think it also accentuates the weighting/cog (progressive set) design.

Did demo these first .. more details to follow in the near future ...

I did. Took a while to send them out. I think they were out of stock even though the website didn't state it, however Amazon said they were out in my size.

Huh, I bought 2dozen PXG balls but I got them thru Amazon so no shipping $.    

BTW I love them!! Gave a few away and no negative comments.

I'm thinking a member's review of the clubs are in order.  Plus add the grip review too. Just sayin'.

Well @TSauer, I have officially added this 2 iron to my bag. Distance gets longer and more consistent with each round. Dispersion is pleasantly tight with the vast majority of tee shots staying in the fairway. I’ve had a couple that cut a bit too much and roll a couple of feet into the rough but still easily playable.

Way easier to hit than I thought it would be.

Congratulations Chuck, enjoy the new sticks! I know you’ve been looking for a while and have demoed a bunch of different irons, so I know you made a great choice.

I’ve always been curious about Sub70, but their options for LH demos are either non existent, or extremely limited as far as shaft and flex. If you have the time, can you tell us what your other finalists were, and why you went with these?
