Couldn't recommend it more!

 

Edit to add....It's actually an Amazon Prime show. I skimmed the "Netflix or Hulu part. My bad but still an excellent show.

 

I heard that was a good show but I couldn't get into it. The concept is awesome but the characters just didn't appeal to me. I gave it an episode and a half before giving up.

Just watched a great documentary called Icarus about the systematic Russian Olympic doping program. Crazy the length that athletes and the Olympic committee went to increase performance and not get caught.

We're watching Wentworth now which is similar but better in my opinion than the New Orange is Black. It's an Australian version of women in prison with a ton of great acting.

So I just recently watched the new Netflix movie "Death Note" and I wasn't too blown away. Maybe 2.5/5 stars, though I didn't expect much with the plot to begin with

I didn't think Narcos could hold my attention after Pablo Escobar was taken out.  I couldn't have been more wrong!

 

We began Season 3 over the weekend and are currently 6 episodes in.  A few observations, I didn't realize so much happened after Escobar was taken out.  These cartels are better organized, more efficient and more effective than most Fortune 500 companies.  The level of government corruption around the world, including our own, is amazing.

I'm watching an Aussie show on Netflix called Rake. Pretty funny and based in my hometown of Sydney. It's about a barrister that stumbles from one disaster in his personal and professional life to another...bit of swearing in it, but that's just us.

My wife and I have been watching two new shows on Netflix recently that are excellent.  I thought I would share.

 

Mindhunter is a Netflix Original series about the team who created the Behavioral Science Unit of the FBI back in the 70's.  It can be a bit sadistic and twisted but it's very thought provoking, interesting and a very well done series.

 

Manhunt: Unabomber is the true crime depiction of the Unabomber case.  The show is written and produced by the FBI "linguist" who developed the techniques used in finding the unabomber.

So we've been working through Planet Earth II as a family.

 

In 4K, WOOOW 🤩🤩🤩

 

 

The shots they get are just amazing. The landscapes are so beautiful to watch and the candid wildlife scenarios rock my socks.

 

I skip the hunting scenes and bugs because my daughter is scared of both but there's still tons of wonder, beauty, and comedy.
