Handicap help

So it’s been over 10 years since I last had an official GHIN handicap. Please help me out with where I should go this season for a handicap??? Not looking to spend tons on app or subscription.

Where are you located? Most regions have online signups for GHIN so you don't have to be part of a club

The Grint app is only $40/year, very easy to use, plus you can find friends on there, track stats etc. Definitely worth it!

Correct - however, some courses and most private clubs package it with there membership.

My club does it that way. They charge an additional $25.00  with your monthly dues once a year.

First recommendation, go to your club pro, or the pro at the course you play most often, and ask there.  Second choice, go to your state golf association, you should be able to join an e-club and get a handicap through them.  An option, use the Grint, as suggested above.

I think the Grint is $20 if you only want a handicap and not all the stats. I did the $40 and the stats are very useful.

GHIN or Grint are the way to go all depends what you are looking for. Basic handicap and minimal tracking info the GHIN is the one. Bells and whistles with more social interaction is the grint

Right I used to get it with my season pass to my home course, but this year the didn't offer it, some dispute with NOGA over numbers. So I signed up though the Northern Ohio Golf e-club.
