A little chilly here this morning too; first day temp has been under 50º since spring.  Supposed to get up to 93º though.  I also have some pains in body parts that are new... too much exercising.   So...

Threw my back out sleeping and tweaked my neck sneezing so I'm probably just one strong f@rt away from complete paralysis.   

Good Morning everyone!!  Hope y'all slept better than I did.  We couldn't get onto our course today... tournament, so we are playing the course in town we played last Sunday again but our tee time is 2:08.  Probably finish just before dark; haven't played that late in years.  Hope the eyes are working that late.

Good late morning MGSpies on this Saturday in a blue sky pleasant weather WNY  coffee in the mug and about to put eggs on for daughter and me, being the house pretty much slept in today after a long week.  Yesterday started out with work, then appointment near my golf course, so had to play 9 before noon, back to work, and evening tee time and both front and back 9s were good the back better than the front, woohoo!  Scores to be posted to the Match play and Virtual Championship Tour as soon as I make sure with the L.A.B. Results: In The Cup team captain that I'm working out the handicap by hole correctly (I sometimes make concrete look intelligent) Jobs around the home today including yardwork.  Hope golf is a part of your day!

My wife and I enjoyed our day out together. We ran around to a few places and stopped at a restaurant where my wife was wanting some hot and sour soup and eggrolls. We called in the order and sat in the car to enjoy the food.

We did get some bad news, we drove by the only Chinese buffet in town to see there were no cars around and the lights were off. We drove by and saw they closed down at the beginning of the month. It was a dumpy restaurant, but held a special place in our hearts as we had been going there since before we were dating.

We left there and hit up the thrift store where I saw this:

This club is special to me as I used it in my early playing days. I could manipulate it to cover yardages that I would normally hit irons simply because I couldn't hit the irons I had at the time. I broke it at Rolling Hills golf course in a fit of immature anger when I threw it overhanded and it landed on the sole and the steel shaft snapped. I learned that day not to throw clubs. I didn't buy it because it was part of a set and I didn't want to spend $100 on it.

We did have a blast today and she's worn out since she hasn't been out much.

Good Morning Spies! 

Beautiful Central Florida Sunday morning - 76 degrees, supposed to hit 91 today. Early Ranger duties the past couple of days caused to be awol.  Rangering this morning as well. Went to the UCF-Villanova football game last night. UCF trounced Nova, but next week starts the new Big 10 schedule.  Should be interesting.

Morning all! A beautiful day after a week of rain and wind. Windows are open and sun is shining!

Finally got the pool cleaned up after all the nasty weather. Took 2 vacuums and a filter flush in between! Need to stop by the pool store and get the chemicals right again….almost time to close it up before the leaves come down

Got Buffalo wings and of course chips on the menu for the games today. Cubans on the docket for dinner in respect tk the dolphins that are gonna get smoked by the patriots (sarcasm but ya never know I suppose)

Good morning everyone!

I'm trying to get comfortable this morning as I've got a pug between me and the armrest of the couch. At least she's comfortable.

There's not much on the agenda for today, we have grocery pickup later and I'm sure we'll have to make a couple of stops to get things that are out of stock at Wal-Mart.

I'm hoping the weather is going to be the same as yesterday, it was nice and cool when my wife and I ran around yesterday. It was a wonderful change of pace from the heat we've had for several months.

Good morning all on what looks to be a really nice Sunday weather wise here in Wisconsin. Packers on deck for today taking on @CFreddie’s dirty birds and hoping for a repeat performance from the defense. 

Have to make a run to Madison to stop at some stores and find clothes that fit our oldest as he no longer has pants that fit . Hoping to do that this morning and be home for the afternoon. Golf most likely not on the agenda but you never know!

Good morning MGSpies on a  GO BILLS!!!  home opener that's being played just a few miles thataway Sunday.  Yesterday turned out to be a recovery day from the week meaning yesterday's jobs are all today's jobs, waiting to hear from my regular partner who stepped up to get tee times in the reservation website what tee times we have this week  starting to think I may not get in 4 rounds before next weekend...  So far 91 rounds this season so 18 more than 2020, need 18 more to catch up to 2021, and 33 more to match 2022  hope golf is a part of your day

Another crisp fall-ish morning in Central NY. My wife and I ventured out to the local orchard for some apples. My recent running adventures and yard work has me feeling under used muscles. Coffee is going down with a touch of sugar free toasted marshmallow syrup. It’s hitting just right. No golf as football is on tap today. Go Niners!!

Rainy day here in Chicago, but was up early for the Formula 1 race. Best race of the season by far! Settling in for a long day of football and golf.

Knocking out some wedding planning with the wife-to-be as well. Closing in on one month away from the big day!

It is the Sunday my spies…. Time to regroup and finish weekend antics and prepare to have to once again engage in “ adulting “ come the morn. 
    Believe it was a great golf outing yesterday… Still getting bits and pieces of a debriefing from the seemingly perturbed royal female of the household….. 
     So far, all  I have been told is that I had to be stopped from buying a commercial frozen Margarita machine at the charity auction after golf. The female boss has so far said she can’t figure out why I would have wanted to buy the machine after I had obviously drank it dry. It has been further established that said machine was at a strategic spot on the course. Additional information is that the charity sponsors forgot to bring enough tequila and supplemented with ever clear grain alcohol. This is probably why so many participants were falling out of their golf carts or engaged in so erratic cart driving. 
      My elegant elitist leader did say that the charity raised an all time high in funds. Will probably spend the rest of the day finding out the answers to the following questions…. 
  1) What was the name of the charity and what do they do? 
  2) Am I in any legal jeopardy? 
  3) Most importantly how did I play.

No matter the answers to those questions. If need be, I will be going with a defense that I have illustrated below. 
    Be good to each other, especially those of us who might very well be in dire straits in the near future.

... First game of the season is always interesting. Judging from everything I read, progress reports from training camp and opinions from good sports reporters that have covered the Bears for years, I had hope they were correct. Defense was much improved and dominated at practice. Offense looked much better with the additions DJ Moore and Mooney back. Fields had some good days connecting with Moore but had more days where he struggled. Especially with holding the ball and accuracy. So I was guardedly optimistic. And clearly I wasn't alone as the Bears were favored to win. To be fair I also thought the Packers would suck, and they certainly have time to live up to that easy prediction. 

... Still not sure what happened in the 2nd half to the Bears defense other than the offense leaving them on the field far too long. And of course Fields was even worse than last season, something I didn't think possible. So unless something changes pretty drastically with Fields, all the optimism is gone. I have zero faith they can beat Tampa (or anyone else) and todays game will let us know if the first game was an aberration or a reasonable snap shot of what Bears fans can expect again this season.  If so, best case scenario is losing enough to draft Williams or Maye.

Shot a 47 for 9. One par but no blow up holes. Greens were in terrible condition. Haven’t been mowed. Very bouncy

Shot 82 in our field day yesterday, greens were a little slower than I like. Had a double bogey on each 9. We found out that they are keeping the course open for one more year. Have a great day everyone.

Up early this morning for a 7:30am tee time.  After +6 on the front nine, I was +1 on the back nine for a 79.  I wonder what I can score is I didn't have body parts that hurt?

We have a Red Flag Warning until Monday night at 8pm... currently at 4:30pm it's 88º with winds forecasted to be 15-25mph with gusts to 40mph and our relative humidity currently sits at 12%.  For all you guys back east, that means you don't need towel after you shower.

It's a nice cool morning here and I actually broke out a light jacket for the walk into work. I was the perfect morning to sleep in but alas, it's Monday.

Good morning everyone

I'm up about an hour before I needed to be for my full day of golf. The baby is still having a rough time sleeping. Yet, to no avail, I still couldn’t beat the Good Morning Thread early bird @sirchunksalot. Don’t worry we’ll work on the title. 

I’m playing two of the Turning Stone Casino Resort courses today. One of which Dustin Johnson won his first PGA Tour tournament at (The Turning Stone Championship at Atunyote). This course has been on my list for a while so I’m excited to play it. 

I hope everyone has a great day and got more sleep than Sirchunks and I.

Good morning spies!!! Starting the day out with a crisp 43° but we are still forecasted to reach around 80° this afternoon.

Hoping to get out and play a little golf this afternoon but we shall see. Quite a few of my coworkers were put on 10s this week so I’ll see if they need me to hang around as well.
