Peterpc2828 716
Yeah I think his 'head' is the problem - totally lost putting confidence as well. I was just listening to PGA tour radio on Sirius/ XM and they mentioned it may very well be his eye sight and that his posture has changed in his set up, as well they mentioned he now goes back and forth from looking at the hole on some puts to looking only at the ball for other puts, when he was at his best he was only looking at the hole on every put. They also brought up the fact that in comparison the TW JS has missed 13 cuts in his PGA tour career Vs. TW missing 15 cuts in 313 career PGA tour events, that number is staggering. Hopefully he figures this out as I enjoy JS and love watching hi play well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
tony@CIC 17,568
I like JS as well. It's just amazing to me how you can go from the top to the bottom so fast in this sport. djahubes 1,261
Tomorrow shaping up to be great. Good to see Connors step up to the moment. He's probably happy to be playing with JR instead of Tiger. Should take some of the craziness out of it for him. What a great story, not sure if he was going to be in the field on Monday and leading the event going into the final round. He's going to have a rough time with the group at -8 but hope he can keep it going and finish strong. I think Tiger also caught a bit of a break. Everyone wants him in the final pairing but playing with Snedeker again will be good for him. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Peterpc2828 716
Lets take a step back and realize that TW a year ago told us he was not sure if he would ever play competitive golf agin, fast forward about a year and he is tied for 2nd place going into Sunday, for his 5th tournament of this year we are all surprised in what we have seen, love him or hate him we all love a comeback story, he potentially has a real chance of winning this tournament, but win or lose the progress he has made is the real story, you have to respect that a guy with how many back and knee surgeries registers the highest swing speed on tour all year, this is straight out of a science fiction novel, how is this even possible seeing all the sad/ embarrassing attempts at a comeback in the past? I don't know but sitting here watching him today I felt transported back in time, cheering and yelling at the greatness that I was watching and never thought I'd see again, either way and however this turns out on Sunday it's finally been some great golf on TV, all around by many players today. I hope this is not a dream and Sunday turns out to be the golf Sundays that I thought I'd never see again. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I hope this is not a dream and Sunday turns out to be the golf Sundays that I thought I'd never see again. It was amazing to be on the grounds on Friday. I've been to a few US Opens, tournaments in the Metro NYC area, the Midwest, Bayhill and at least ten here under three different sponsor names. A normal Friday at Valspar allows for a nice quiet stroll around the grounds with great viewing. I've pushed Penny around in her wheelchair on a Saturday and gotten to talk to guys near the lead between the range and putting green. It was crazier and more energized than the final round of a US Open on Friday. Anyone who thinks Tiger Woods isn't important to the sport has to go see what happens when he's on the field. I'm very thankful that I went and got to see this story unfold first hand. Sorry that I have no pictures. I need to dump a bunch so that I can post some and I've been too busy. Perhaps later today.
