... Most know I absolutely LOVE the Maxfli Tour. Just bought a new Box of 4 dozen with the $20 off $100 deal and $40 in rewards. The only thing I don't like is the CG alignment lines as it makes them look like range balls. My two home courses have ranges right next to #1 and #18 so looking at 10 balls in the fairway it can be difficult to find mine. Pretty minor annoyance but I don't like alignment lines to begin with. The *NEW* Tour balls have a much better CG marking with no lines:

A bit off topic - but it reminded me: Many years ago we were having a sales meeting (hotel) and announced that jackets and ties were required   I had a smart ass salesmen show up to the meeting in a jacket and tie along with his tighty whities (no pants) 😱. Good thing he had exceeded his sales quota.

Nice!  I told myself I was going to have another Camaro at some point.  That was why I bought the 50th Anniversary (2017) edition ... Convertible Blue with black racing stripe SS.  Love it, especially the sound 👍

One of the cars I have always lusted after... never was the right moment to pull the trigger to make one mine.

I bought the 67 in 1972 with around 30K on it for $650.  It ran great but living in Michigan while in college and engaged and soon after a newlywed, a convertible wasn’t the best choice.  The heater core (which was a little radiator under the dash) blew while it was snowing three months after I got married.   Interior filled with steam making it impossible to see and I had to drop the top to drive it to my apartment.  The whole dashboard had to be pulled to replace the heater core and I had to take it to a second shop to get it fixed as the first one couldn’t reassemble it.  I should have done the work myself as I did virtually all of it myself back then due to economics.  I saw one here in Dallas that was a “full” restoration for $70K last year.  It was a nice build but not a correct final product.  I pointed out to the seller that he had a radio out of a 65 Vette in the Camaro instead of the original Camaro radio and he dropped the price $5K immediately.  Who knows what I would have found once I got it on a hoist.  I did find another one for $45K three years ago but couldn’t make that decision as I wouldn’t have driven it much.  Might end up buying one for my grandson in a few more years and live through him.

My first vehicle was a hand me down 86 Honda Accord hatchback that I took over in 96. Had 100k+ miles on it before it became mine, as well as being through a few deer episodes.  Other than a few minor oil leaks it performed like a champ until I finally traded her in.

I had a '78 Camaro with a 454 4-speed, four on the floor, fast as car!  Wasn't really the best idea for a first car but I couldn't resist.  I learned to drive manual on a very fast car.  My brother had a '68 Chevelle & we used to race each other.   I miss that car!

71' Chevelle - got it in 1992 with 30k on it (was an older couple selling it), bench seat, 307 small block w/2 barrel carb, stock air shocks and AC.

Learned the car from my Haynes Manual (yep, I'm that old 🤣) and did a full engine rebuild trading out heads/cam/crank with parts from a 69 350SS Camaro that was totaled. Great car, ended up selling it when I was in college as it didn't make sense to keep at the time. Regret that decision to this day...

I felt fortunate to have access to a few hand me downs growing before my first car purchase. I inherited my grandparents 76 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme to drive to school and work in 1990. Was kind of cool having an 8-track player that worked and Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in the glove box, lol. That thing was built like a tank (similar gas mileage too) and we called it the Great White Buffalo after the song by Ted Nugent.

1964 vw beetle that my dad bought for 250.00 in '88 or 89. only ran on 2 cylinders for a while and barely fit 3 teen boys.

Bought with money from after school jobs in my senior year. The first car I owned, loved, and totaled:

Might be the best/worst thing I’ve ever owned. Lot of fond/not-so-fond memories attached to this car. A lot like high school itself, I suppose.

At college I drove an ’81 Honda Accord sedan. Friends had larger American cars, but we always took road trips to Chicago and upper Michigan and in my car.

Five college kids would rather spend 4-10 hours in a li’l four-door Honda than a roomy two-door Z28 Camaro because two doors is a pain in the ass.

My first car was a hand me down 2000 Saturn SL2, not mine, but looked like this:

First car I bought on my own was a 2006 Chevy Colorado Z71 in burnt orange:

Sadly, that car was hit by a drunk driver and ended up flipped less than a year later.  Only picture I have of it is a Polaroid from the police report, sitting upside down in the road less than two miles from my house.  I loved that truck.  Might see if I can dig that one out.

Think I posted this B4.  First car was 56 Chevy Bel Air loved that car.  Best car ever was 1966 Chevelle SS 396/375hp.  Bought it new, I worked 3rd shift @ Pratt & Whitney in my Senior HS  year to pay for it.

First car that I owned was a 1999 Mustang GT cause my grandfather RIP got me obsessed, then owned a 2017 Mustang GT that i did a bunch of work on. Loud, fast, obnoxious ohhhh man I loves it. Now with the need for space I own a lifted Jeep Gladiator. Should see the looks i get pulling up to some prestigious courses in this thing. 5” lift on 40s usually covered in mud or dirt.IMG_8478.jpeg.4664727fe395ca53178680f29114f954.jpeg

Been playing for about 2 years in total. Winter breaks and a 6month period when I got sick. Starting to feel like myself again and recently played a “okay” round.
I currently have custom fit Cobra LTDx irons/wedges, a Vokey 60(cause my short game has been the best part of my game, and a Maverick 9 deg. Driver. Driving is the worst part of my game so My 4 iron usually takes alot of the long game abuse.

My first car was a 63 rambler my grandfather gave me. I was coming home from fishing one day with 2 friends in the car about 2 blocks from my house, coming down the hill I went to use the brakes and there wasn't any, pedal to the floor. I was 16 at the time that was really scary but I stayed calm and started using the emergency brake and I made it home with out hitting anything.
