Apologies MGS’s …. Way late again to the morning, now afternoon conversation. Somehow the confab I had with myself about playing yesterday’s round like my last round ever, got misconstrued into a performance of actually being nearly my worst round ever. Did’t help that on the second hole I hit a bunker shot where it felt like how hitting  cement might feel… Some hard as heck sand. Anyhow jacked the hell out of my wrists. Being the non-bright elderly person that I am, instead of calling it a day I continued to play on, big mistake.  
   Had a horrible night with the wrists. My lady fair, did all the driving to the Medico appointments. Finished the blood draw, as well as the other fluid pulls. Hands and wrists feeling a tad better. Spending the night in the big city, as the orthopedist is first up in the morning. Hoping for some answers an if I need to see the nerve specialist for exam(s) /testing for the extent of nerve damage. Next up after that is the gastroenterologist to review blood work and discuss any options that may need to be considered. 
  Bottom line, I will be out of pocket for at least a couple of more days.. Won’t be any twisting off, just shuffling from one medico to the next. 
   The young person doing the blood pull work up asked me questions in a combination of general conversation and information gathering. When he asked my age, his response to my answer was,… “ That’s starting to get up there “..Made  me laugh. I responded with a barrage of possibly biased data….

Take care out there… It is still Monday, and Monday can be a dangerous day to deal with. 

Hope everything checks out good over the next couple of days and they tell you to play more golf! Might want to see about some gloves that dampen the impact of concrete...

thanks @jbern, fun to see "Takomo" on the bag tag, I am still feeling lots of gratitude to Takomo and MGS for the opportunity to get these irons, I would have never in a million years played them, and now love them...

I guess it’s not morning. But I had to share my interesting story. Today I got out to play since we got the day off. Everything was going well, shot a 15 over. But that is not the point of this. I had just finished the 17th hole of the round and started heading to the 18th tee. And something caught my eye on the ground. I was certain it was a statute of a bald eagle. I thought that was pretty cool until I got up closer and realized it was real. It also looked like something was wrong with its wing. I called the club house and let them know where the eagle was. I watched him for a good 5 minutes and he didn’t move a bit other than to blink at me. They contacted wildlife and got them out there, but I had already left by then as the course manager had taken over watching it. I hope it is ok or can at least be rehabbed.

Good morning everyone!

I feel like winter is taking another stab at us this morning as I woke up to below freezing temps. It's going to warm up the rest of the week, but I don't think I was mentally prepared for it this morning. 

I survived the early start yesterday, it's amazing how much longer an hour can make the day. I did something yesterday I didn't normally do, I bought a Mountain Dew. I don't normally drink soda, but needed the caffeine.

Late night getting work done, but meant I had a much more relaxed morning. Finally a good morning at the curling hall with no core issues and lots of good coffee. 

Yesterday was a banner day for the forum. We fell 3 posts short of 800 in a day, which to me is wild. Considering looking back not too long ago we were regularly seeing monthly post counts in 4-5 thousand range. 

I have said it before and I will continue to do so, thank you all for diving into this community and taking part. It has meant the world to us as a community, staff and for all of MyGolfSpy.

Good morning MGSpies from the wintery dark downtown parking spot this morning with flurries in the headlights in WNY  Ulrich Schnauss' Here Today Gone Tomorrow on Pandora making a dark imploringly urgent ambiance while coffee mellows it for a perfect pre-work break before the office workday begins. Thoughts already on the warmup next week. Wrap around day, last week's trip started only a week ago and was a trip that seemed a week long but was only 4 days 5 hours.  Won't be any outside here today but hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning Spies on what will be the warmest day this week, although low 40's for the high isn't saying much.

Should be a normal Tuesday at work for me, which typically means the gathering of a lot of data, then adding details to it for weekly meeting material later in the week.

As Derek @EasyPutter, mentioned, doesn't look like any outdoor activities related to golf here this week either, although next week appears to be warmer again.

Hope that your day is the best it can be, and that something enjoyable is in your plans.

Morning all. Today’s forecast is cloudy, but the sun is out shining. I was out early at the indoor range and came back to find that my dog ate a pack of tortillas. Walked straight into his crate as soon as I found the empty plastic wrapping on the floor.

He’s picked up some bad habits from my SIL’s dog.

Fine day yesterday with some decent weather, unfortunately the only reason I got out was to continue the tree cutting clean up. Getting there but still a good little ways to go.

Kids did some research and found some historical maps from around 1919 when our large ash tree first started growing. Though bit of a lost magic day after that as our oldest busted up the Santa, tooth fairy, and Easter bunny. Thankfully he took it really well and actually found it very funny that I was the one who was going in to take his teeth. Still keeping the fun for his sisters. Kids is growing up too fast.

Busy day on the horizon between the real estate and construction projects. Hoping the afternoon calls for a practice session.  The club build is getting real after the Toura heads arrived yesterday. I'm doing my homework on building them and excited for the rest of the stuff to come in.

Good morning everyone. Slightly warmer start today in the mid 30s. Feels like spring is going to be like a diesel engine and need awhile to warm up before it’s truly ready to go. My caddy schedule at Arbor Links is starting to fill up for April. Excited to get on the course again. Just have to be sure to leave enough time for myself to get out and play as well. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Good morning Spies! Sitting here reading the threads and enjoying the company! It's gotten cold again.... last week we were teased with low to mid 70's and practice and rounds were so wonderful! Now we're back down in the upper 30's and I just watched a snow squall go through... practicing in a turtleneck and warmup jacket this afternoon for sure! 

Back to this nice, steaming mug of pomegranate mojito tea and continue the threads!

Good Morning Spies!  Thanks to all who wished me a Happy Birthday yesterday.  As mentioned yesterday, we did end up going out to that new pizza place in town.  It was pretty good.  Leftovers for lunch.  Also had to get our water heater fixed yesterday as the pressure valve was not sealing correctly on the side so the guy came and replaced all that and fixed us up.  It was a pretty good day.  But busy day today.  Supposed to warm back up this afternoon.

Good morning! A nice day ahead with temps in the upper 50s today. Golf practice started yesterday and I am a volunteer coach for the school I work at. I love watching young players enjoy the game of golf. Continuously growing the game and finding a passion to get better is really fun to watch. I'm looking forward to watching the players grow and getting them improve along the way.
