Keep up the course management @cksurfdude!  It seems to work.  After watching several Golf Sidekick vids on the topic, I am going to try “the way of the playah” as he calls it.   Wish I had his swing tho!  
 

So I bought a used driving iron/hybrid for $40.  Planning to keep the ball in play a little more certainly on tighter / shorter holes.  In 45 years of golf I have never had one. Curious to learn if it will kick a hybrid out of my bag?   It arrives in a few days.

We might get some outer bands on this current track. But you are correct about Cedar Key, they appear they will be hammered.  You stay safe!

Anyone play the G425 Hybrids?  I have been hearing from several on here that they really like.  I might want to try but, Looking for some comments.  Currently playing a Callaway Super which I purchased due to its stability as compared to TM and others I have tried.

Any help appreciated.

Sir Chunk,  Where do you play in Cleveland?  Back a number of years ago, I finished third in the TN State 2 Ball tournament at Cleveland CC.  Only time I ever played there.

I play most of my rounds at Flagstone Golf Course and will occasionally play at Falcon Pointe which used to be Waterville. I've never had the privilege of playing at the CC, but have drove by there several times. It's really cool you got to play there.

Starting to get some outer band rain squalls from Hurricane Idalia, in East Orlando area.  Wind isn't too bad on the western side of storm, but it's bringing some rain.

Awful sleep with both kids taking turns being up, however a NLU Ryder Cup Video posted and fun to watch with the morning coffee and off to work. Long day in store, but the hope of an afternoon nap is what I'm looking forward to. 

Oh and the main shop is having a 25% off so there very well could be a new stick getting into the bag!

Happy Hump Day! It's the halfway point of the week and there's a holiday weekend coming up. I'm taking off work starting tomorrow and returning next Wednesday. We have my wife's gallbladder surgery tomorrow.

It's a nice morning here and I'm enjoying my coffee and am about to see if I can figure out how to check the status of my lease car inspection. Online stuff is great, but it can be a pain.

Good morning all and a happy Wednesday. Supposed to be a rainy one here unfortunately. My son is settling back into school, the first couple days are always a hard transition.

Got out to the net yesterday and worked on some gaping of my clubs here. Might have a couple changes to make but I need to confirm the data first. Might need to swap around clubs or get some lofts checked.

Good morning Spies on this last Wednesday in August. Making a stop or visit to a customer Technical Center on my way into my work, to assist a new person on their end, learn about some of the things we make for their vehicles.

This will be my last day in to the facility, as our annual charity car show is Saturday, and as chairman, I ensure all preparations are complete beforehand.

I hope all the Florida Spies stay safe and come out of the hurricane without issues.

Good morning MGSpies from it's mostly cloudy and cool but humid so it feels warm WNY on this Wednesday in August!  hot coffee keeping me company already while the systems go online for the next rendition of work from home.  PGA HOPE last night at Wildwood CC in Rush NY had dramatic clouds under mostly sunny conditions (not sure how that worked) and one in particular had a curtain of heavy rain that passed from downrange to right over us as a good soaker but in no way dampened spirits. 

Tee time at 5:20 today, hope golf is a part of your day  and hope those in the Florida and surrounding areas fare well in the next 24 hours

Good morning everyone. Last day for golf league this year. Our team came in second and this week is our fun week and team scramble followed by dinner and drinks and a nearby bar. I know I got at least five more rounds left in me (VCT Match Play) but not many more than that before the season comes to an end. Turned 50 this year and my goal was to get in at least 50 rounds. I’m at 43 so far. If all goes well I just might make my goal. Hope everyone has a great week ahead.

Good morning! Busy busy busy day today. Football practice in the morning, then going into the school day, then PLC meetings right after the school day. Hoping that it goes quickly!

Well… I have returned from my “ Walk About “ Texas style. I am pretty sure that the work site was still in Texas, as it was only a 14hr.drive there and back. Also, never encountered any Mexican Cartel revenue or toll road agents. So yeah, I was going with the work site still being in Texas, EXCEPT!!!!!. On the next to last day on the site, some guy shows up steaming and lamenting that we had injured his favorite animal ( see picture ), in fact the animal in question was more of a family member than some of his children were.  ( He started stammering something about paternity) He continued his ranting and raving, including threatening  legal action(s). As the only old codger and supposed nominal site leader, all the young ones pointed me out and then ratted me out saying they had observed me hitting golf balls in the direction the man had came from. I admitted to hitting a few wedge shots with my 60 degree. I informed the man that I was just making sure that the 60 was deceased before disposing of its remains. That the balls hit with the 60 degree couldn’t hurt grass let alone an animal and asked him to leave. He fumed a bit longer and shook some kind of animal horn at me and said something about a lawyer as he left.
   I was planning on playing 18 and enjoying a pleasant day ending with a social engagement. Instead I am off to see a lawyer this morning. Oh,and the wife person said if I was arrested on animal cruelty charges that I shouldn’t post bond but stay in jail an engage in a body detoxifying and cleansing. As I was leaving the room she was repeatedly the same old refrain about my life insurance being up to date and enforce.

Top of the pot spies .  Today and next Wednesday is our 36 hole member/member summer men's league event.  Both rounds have different formats on each nine, so it can really shake things up on the leaderboard. We play Cimmaron today and Desert Springs next week.  Hope my recent roll of good scoring sticks around.  It will be fun no matter. Have a great "hump day" all!

Good morning all and happy hump day. Second of three early starts this week at work so dragging a bit this morning paired with a night of not so great sleep. Our three year old has regressed big time on sleeping habits so it's been a bit of a struggle for a good 6 months now. School starts next week, so I'm hoping that him getting into the Pre-K routine maybe will help? Wishful thinking
