Very thankful to be selected for this review.  I'll have more on this later, but my 5 year old Caddytek was starting to fall apart so this comes at a perfect time.  Let us know if you have any specific things you want us testers to be on the lookout for.  Durability, stability, weight, folded size, flammability, buoyancy; it's (mostly) all on the table!

Are you planning to have a controlled buoyancy test or will that come after a few bad shots? 😆🤣

Probably try the flammability test first, immediately followed by the buoyancy test to put out any potential flames.  Things could go off the rails quickly.

Excited to get in on this one! I've had a Sun Mountain Reflex cart for the past two or three years. It's served me well, and it looks like it will now become Kirke's cart. I've got a few tests in mind for the ClicGear, and some important boxes I'd like to see it check as an upgrade over my current model.

Congrats on all the testers. Looking forward to hearing your opinions. I’m especially curious how the testers feel about the length of the straps. Love all of these tests

Congratulations to those selected.  I have never considered a push cart until recently and so I am really interested to see what the results are.

At our league course, their rental push carts are Clicgear 4.0's. I forgot my pushcart one afternoon so rented one of theirs.  I will be curious to see what you guys think. I have an opinion on one aspect, but am going to wait and see if any of you share it.

It’s mainly just the finish of some of the features - water bottle holder doesn’t stay on anymore, it’s a struggle to unfold at times, is very liable to tip over backwards when used with a lightweight bag. For the money it’s definitely not bad, but it has the overall feel of a budget product for sure.

I'll be comparing my Caddytek CaddyCruiser to the Clicgear 4.0 during my review! I agree with what you have said about the Caddytek though, there are some improvements to be made, including to the brake (an essential part of the push cart lol).

I've already had to replace the brake once on my Caddytek EZ (Costco version from about 5 years ago) and the second one is starting to wear out again.  Part of it is my own fault though.  I'm guilty of locking the foot brake and forgetting it's on before I start pushing it again.  I'm sure that isn't good for the brake or the plastic wheels that the mechanism locks into.

Looking forward to testing out the Clicgear 4.0 hand brake to see if it makes a difference with my forgetfulness.  More to come in my intro this weekend!

Received my new cart about 15 minutes before I had to leave the house for my Thursday 18.  I'll have more thoughts coming soon, but the main takeaway is that yes, you can still leave a hand brake locked and smash into it when you forget to unlock it after a shot.  Definite face palm situation for me (again).  🤦‍♂️

Intro is up!  I love doing these tests, but it's getting kind of hard to keep the intros fresh and somewhat new.  Hope you all enjoy before we get into the first impressions and start putting the 4.0 through the rigorous testing process (i.e. playing a lot of golf).

It is kind of a challenge to write an intro without sounding cliche or repetitive. But then I remember that for some this is their first time reading a product review so I remember to put my best foot forward.

Yeah not a great start… I just got the “out for delivery” notification so I’ll post some first thoughts tomorrow for the thread!

FedEx made my day!

Here's the unboxing:

And the first picture with everything in place:

I will say, @Bucky CC, I skipped the instructions. Maybe I should have given them a quick scan, because (in hindsight), they're absolutely not kidding about this:

That red looks fantastic.  Now I kind of wish I didn't wimp out and go with the standard black.

I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read this as I would have probably made a mess.

Great stuff so far, everyone!
