How will the data produce itself? Will it have images or video in addition to the data sheets?

Did a very short range session today in the backyard net just to see how the face impact works and to make sure I could set it up easily every time I use it.  

You can spray the face or do what I chose to do, and that is to add a piece of masking tape to the face and then make the adjustments.  When you are in a session, you simply select the "Club Analysis" view.

From that point, you get the following screen.  Mine took me a couple shots for it to register a shot.  Once I got the first one to register, I took one more shot and then selected Calibrate.  I looked at the masking tape and then moved the cursor to the correct spot.  Hit save and it is ready to go.  

Once everything is set, it picked up the locations on every shot and was very accurate.

Looks like I’m gonna be picking up an iPad cuz the face impact calibration doesn’t work on phones

Did you have to position the unit in a different spot to pick these shots up on it?

No, but I also didn't worry about where my metallic dot was either. I think had I done that it may have picked up the first shot.

Got some swings in today between having to work. Used my work android tablet cuz the face impact doesn’t allow for calibration on phones due to screen size.  Still going through the info

Also a note on ball flight. I grabbed a few old balls and hit some outside. Apparently with my setup I have developed a fade swing as that’s exactly what it showed and what I saw.  I think it’s in my head if I follow through correctly I will hit the pole of the cage causing me to short arm my follow through.

You can change the order of the data metrics to whatever you want.

I got out to the range today and had another session with the Mevo. I only hit a small bucket as it was later in the evening and I wanted to get over to the chipping and putting greens since I've neglected those parts of my game since starting this test. 

My first three shots with my LW didn't pick up, so I reset the session on my phone and that fixed the problem. 

I warmed up by stretching at the house before heading out but still started easy by hitting a few partial shots with the lob and sand wedges. There's just something about hitting partial shots starting out that's therapeutic to me. 

I had one of the better ball striking days I've had in a while, I was working on letting my trail arm fold in the backswing instead of letting my elbow chicken wing and I was hitting crisper shots. I did have some that got away from me or I got quick in transition that were bad. 

I did make an silly mistake moving from 7 iron to 5 hybrid and forgot to change clubs, the top three were with the 7. 

Driver was the same old story, I was hitting it good to start out and still not seeing the distance I think I should get. It could be a combination of high spin and the fact the first three shots were dead center (see photo below) and sliced off the range. The other three were low heel. 

It was another fun and informative day on the range and I can't wait to get out on the course to see how I play.

Got out to the range this afternoon and tested out the new wedges to get yardages and to work through some of the Mevo+ data.  

1. The new wedges are amazing and I am going to add my lead tape to them to get my yardages back to the old Vokeys.

2.  There is a ton of data on the Mevo+ that is going to take some time learning and really dialing in how to fix a few items in my swing.  One of the things I really need to remember on the range is focus on hitting down the path I have set the Mevo+ and not towards distance markers.  I caught myself shifting towards those several times and it made for some interesting data.

This is going to be slightly a photo dump to show the amount of data that is available.  I need to figure out how to download the 3D models because it shows the club path along with the numbers.

sorry I’ve been absent here the past 2 weeks, like I said been sick and felt like absolute . Got swinging early this week and was absolutely making a mockery of swinging. I can honestly say I didn't  have a single good ball strike Monday-Wednesday.

Well I got back to my workout routine Wednesday and Thursday  and really stretched and got out there today. Feel like a brand new person, the swing correlated.

i sprayed the club face and compared that to the data from flightscope. I did not have any misreads really and it’s generally in the same spot as contact

Got my iPad today. Got a ton of Mevo plus time planned for this weekend. After the wife and I do some grocery shopping and a lunch date.   Really hoping to nail down the distance issues.

It's so fascinating how much data you can get from the Mevo+ @Josh Parker very cool to see the AOA illustration in real-time.

Well I had lots of Mevo time planned but ran into a couple snags. First I couldn’t get the iPad to download the hdmi accessory so I couldn’t see anything on my tv. So I finally gave up on that and then wouldn’t you know the mevo died. lol. I did get in a good chunk of swings though. Played with the radar settings, environment settings, and calibration settings of the face impact and managed to get some closer to normal numbers for me. Even managed to see my normal flight a few times I was able to really concentrate on my swing mechanics. Here is a few screen shots.

Almost forgot this one too. Once I got it calibrated my smash factor and spin seemed better.

Got out today for a few swings. Wanted to see how light affected readings. I didn’t have anything missed which is good. Sunlight was just enough I think. I will be out there one of these days and get it to not pick up a reading and get a picture of lighting. But no issues today!

I am Definitly missing out on a lot just using the iPhone instead of a tablet or iPad or laptop

It’s funny cuz I thought there was a ton of data on my phone but once it’s on the iPad and all in 1 screen it gets more noticeable. 
 

One thing I noticed with the face impact, heat map, and data is the heat map doesn’t show you where you hit it the most but where you get the best ball speeds. Or maybe that’s just a coincidence More testing to be done
