Lost me with the hook in the grip; LAB uses hook in grip to attach to the revealer.   
 

as for stable on 8 feet, minimal grip pressure eliminates torque.  All putters; including lab, have torque that you overcome with grip pressure.

I'm back in the game, y'all! I picked up a Ping G430 Max 9* driver and Mizuno Pro 243 4-PW. Just a minor bag refresh so I can get back to playing regularly again!

After two fitting sessions I ordered a set of Ping i530 irons today. Some big changes from my old specs: 1° flat where I was 2° up, added 15 grams of shaft weight, and went a full flex stiffer. My current set (M3) are six years old, and I've been working on my swing a lot in that time. My fitter recommended the retro spec loft, and he says he may bend the longer irons a little weaker still. Once they're in we'll see what the yardages actually come to, and decide about changing or bending my wedges.

It was nice on the wallet that he recommended I stick with my current woods (G410 driver, Cobra F9 5 and 7), though we did tweak the loft and weight settings. I bought the hybrids last fall, so they were not in play today.

After purchasing the Ai Smoke Max 9* driver and loving it, I bought the 3, 5 and 7 FW. The Ai technology works well for me so I bought the Ai Smoke irons and love them too. Not sure changing shafts would improve the performance of my driver much. I already have a pretty tight dispersion with the stock Tensi shaft. I can draw, fade and slice it as well. I just added a Ai smoke, 4 H hybrid and like it too.  I like the height and dispersion  I'm getting out of the hybrid off the fairway so I'm going to replace my 7 FW with a 3 hybrid now. The 7 wood just doesn't offer as much versatility. I would test a shaft but I wouldn't replace the one I'm using currently, just to gain a few yards, unless it out performs it in all the other categories.

Got my third L.A.B., this time the DF3! Got this one in blue with a white Accra shaft. Loved my DF2.1 but missed having a blade putter so I went to the Link.1 putter. Turns out I prefer the mallet style and wanted one a bit smaller so the DF3 is perfect!

Wow, 3 degrees of lie angle is a significant change.  And how weak are we talking on the lofts?  What will your PW be, for example?

The standard lofts on the i530s are very strong. Even in the "retro spec", which is a little weaker, the PW is 42.5°. We're looking at adding one or two degrees of loft in the longer irons. They have a fair amount of bounce, so that part shouldn't be a problem.

Mini Ball scrubber for the garage, and this glove retainer thingy... which still doesn't make sense on its purpose to me, as i just throw em in the golf bag pouch anyway...

Too many people relate height to the what they think should be the correct lie angles . I am 5’11” with short legs and I was fitted for standard lie angles for Taylormade ( wedges 64* standard) but 1 * upright fur Mizuno ( wedges @ 63* standard ). So don’t get hung up on what you think you might need and get properly fitted, you ll be amazed in time by the results !

I can identify with this post.. Don't know why I buy certain things, but at that moment it makes sense to purchase it.. Hopefully u find something else the glove thing can have use for lol

I got this organizer with one 2 of those glove keepers for Christmas. 

I'm going to give them a try. I'm bad for tossing a sweaty glove all mashed up into a pocket, then having to deal with a hard crunchy glove that's mashed up in a ball my next round.

I bought some RipIt grips for my driver and wedges. Finally worked up the nerve to try replacing my old grips myself. Haven’t done it since high school. And that was a long time ago. 

I think they turned out pretty darned nice. Excited for the “Mary Jane” grip for my 60° wedge. A nice subtle reminder to hit it “high”. LOL

Very true. I’m three rounds in on my GripIt man (pac man) themed grip on my driver and I love it. Will see how they fare by the end of the season.

Well don't believe I make enough club head speed for this club to work for me honestly. Tried changing some weights around and just doesnt work well for me. Debating on what to do with it. Might see if I can find someone who has a STD Stealth2 to trade or another Model/Brand to try.

If there is a PGATSS close by you could likely find one there to test out. The one near me almost always has righties in stock, if you’re a lefty they are scarce in stores, they’ll also make you wear a dunce hat while in the store if you ask them about lefty clubs.

I have driver envy and after testing out like 7 shafts on my AeroJet I just bought a used Rogue ST Max LS from Callaway Used for 25% off during the Masters which is what I sold when I bought the AeroJet.  What's old is new again, I just love the way this one feels of the face and it has a sick Project X LZ San Diego shaft that is silky smooth.

Is there another thread for what have you sold lately? Because I might have another couple of posts for that one too!

I am still playing this driver, Rogue ST Max LS with a Tensei Blue 65g stiff and midsize grip. It has been the straightes and longest driver for me. I haven't been able to try out anything new yet this year due to back surgery, but at least I have a starting point.

Just ordered a Callaway Ai Smoke Max 5 wood while taking advantage of that 50% bonus trade in value Global Golf is running. Looking for it to be an alternative to my 2 iron.  While I love the 2 iron, I am looking for something a bit easier to loft and land softly so I'll be swapping between the 2 depending on course fit.

I had that same setup with the White, but when my partner and I cleaned house in our sim league I got fit again and the AeroJet won.  I wasn't totally sold on the Cobra, but I arranged a sale on FB Marketplace in order to force myself to get used to it.  

I played with it one last time that night and was striping it so much, even my opponents were trying to head the guy off in the parking lot to get me to not sell.  Now I'm back! I should've just used that money on a new putter instead!
