I guess I'm in a rant mood today.  I posted this in the What did you smoke today? thread.  It's more of a Rant than a tongue-in-cheek smoking post.

 

What did I smoke today?  Apparently, it is a combination of evergreen, deciduous, and brush from all the wildfires in the NW.  Visibility this morning was less than 5 miles.  It's 98º feels like 104º at 8pm tonight.

I can't even run the circulation jets on mine for more than an hour a day or it will be over 104.  Maybe when the heat wave eases, I'll crawl into mine again.

I´ve been saving up some money to upgrade my gear, i saw a great cleveland rx-3, on personal add, paypal payment which i don't use but a colleague of mine does. I left the money in a drawer of my desk in my department where only we have access and guess what... 2 days and it goes missing.        Man am i pixxxxd at this.

Well, it was supposed to be 100º today, but it's only 87º.  So why is this a rant?  It's sunny, not a cloud in the sky!!  It's bright out, but there are almost NO shadows.  Smoke from all the local fires, combined with the smoke coming up from California.

 

The Washington State Department of Ecology has issued an air quality alert until noon on Wednesday.  Unhealthy to very unhealthy air will be common across central, south central, and southeastern Washington.  Children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory illnesses are most at risk of serious health effects.

 

Here is a picture of the smoke in the region.  I'm in the circled area.

My laser range finder crashed today. It was a cheap model I bought on eBay. Tried a new battery but no dice and tomorrow is the first day of our club's senior championship. Looks like I'll have to rely on my golf gps app.
