This nonsense again Jamie?!  Xbox is by far the superior ecosystem. 

 

If we're being real for a moment, cross-platform play is truly the best.  I love that people can play games now independent of what system they choose to use and still have fun.

But for the sake of this argument, playstation blows.  I continue to loathe the controller, and as such, my home will continue to remain a playstation free environment.

Having had both...I prefer the Xbox...I will say that platform specific games suck. I would like the spiderman series to be on Xbox, but it is what it is.

Playstation for me and have been since the original came out, but to each their own. I always preferred the controller over Xbox but now the PS5 is very similar so there really is not a huge difference. 

But the best thing currently that Playstation has over XBox, is the ability to distribute endless amounts of Justice in the name of Freedom!!

xbox for 14 years I think now.

Playstation remotes are for people with small hands.  Not sure if they smell like cabbage, lol.

In reality  it probably doesn't matter for me as I only play 2 games, and they are on both systems.

I just really wish for all games on both systems they allowed cross platform play.

PlayStation definitely offers the superior titles and it will always be my preferred controller so that was my choice. But anybody who trashes Xbox is ridiculous. GamePass alone tells a big story.

I did quite a bit of research into this over the last few months. I seemingly tend to switch preferences from model to model. I've had different models of PlayStations and Xboxes over the years. I had the PS4 previously then sold it as I realized I just wasn't playing it much. A few years later, I bought on Xbox One for various reasons. I still have that but plan on selling soon as I recently purchased a PS5 since I felt it was the superior system and offered more of what I wanted. I've had it since end of December and have not been disappointed.

PlayStation all the way. I’ve just sold my Xbox. Gamepass has just gotten worse over the last year or so, exclusives are awful. Starfield is just a disaster, halo was awful and the other are just bad. Apart from gears but there hasn’t been a new one for years. 
 

as far as online community etc, they’re both the same. People have this thing that Xbox is better, it’s literally the same. However trophies are better than achievements.

ps5 exclusive are unreal and no one can debate that. The controllers are better, it looks better and with the new setup for ps+ it’s just overall better.

Playstation  lost all credibility after the PS2.  The data hack they had with the PS3 was horrible. Their game library was subpar and they have been playing catchup to Xbox ever since. That being said, the PS5 graphics are amazing but it's hard to switch systems once you invest into one or the other.

I've never played either one, the last one I ever played ( don't laugh) was the atari 2600. We have a wii that we haven't used in years.

That was years ago though and I had a ps3 during that time and yeah it was awful but no issues since. Companies get hacked all the time so it’s nothing new

Xbox was king during the 360/PS3 era. Now Playstation is on top. But I'll back the xbox, too many good memories growing up with it.

I agree the the ecosystem of Xbox is better, but I feel as though Playstation has better games

I switched from PS4 to Xbox Series X when it came out, mainly to play Forza Horizon 5. Now I don't see an immediate need to still get a PS5, there's too many games to play and too little time to do so anyway. Maybe when then next console generation starts again I will consider switching back to PS, who knows.

It all depends how hard/easy you set up the game, right? I'm still getting used to the stick swing controls. Sometimes it works nicely, sometimes not at all. And that's what is cool about the game, kind of comes close to real golf where not every shot is perfect.

I am a bit of a nerd let me help out here. 

I play my PS5 way more than my new Xbox but that is because my friends play more PlayStation.

With that being said the Xbox until this year always had the far better controller and easier navigations screen. I think that the New PS5 is way more initiative then the new Xbox as of now, so my vote is PlayStation.

Been Xbox for awhile just because my friends had it.  I've had Playstation they are basically the same just takes a day or two to get used to the controllers . Although I do want to go PC and open a new world of gaming
