Good morning! 

No outdoor golf this week with an atmospheric river hitting us hard. On flood watch until Thursday for this region. (Luckily high enough not to worry)

Indoor putting on the Putt Out with some stretching. May try to do some simulator later in the week.

Personally I am up to date with club building as I had a basement business in the 90's building knock off golf clubs but I think these are good for even me as there are always new ways to do things and more efficient ways. I believe many MGS readers would like this.

many many times my playing partners say to me "doesnt it get boring being down the middle?" I have been playing boring golf most of my life.

Good morning all!

Woke up to snow and now power, it came back on for a bit only to go out again. Went out to the coffee shop with the family for a bit of breakfast before finally getting power back a little while ago. Otherwise had a calm weekend with some chores and cleaning not that you would know it after some fun in the snow this morning. Here is to another week!

While I am not DIYer.. I do seem to specialize in damaging, wearing out, and occasionally breaking a club.. So I will be interested in seeing what it takes for others to repair/fix my mishaps

Good Morning MGS!

Well the weeks keep rolling on. Before you know it we will all be ringing in 2024 and leaving this year in the rear view mirror. Well like @ZoonORama said its a chilly Ohio day so no golf, but hoping to get into a simulator bay or find time to get the golf net out again. In the meantime, I been bowling league more (avg 198) which has been keeping me moving.

Yes but… Your cost per stroke goes way up and you miss the adrenaline rush of possibly being on and seeing a part of the golf course, no one else has seen since it was built.

Good Monday morning fellow spies! Still riding high after Green Bay's win over KC last night. I dislike nothing more than the fact that the poor calls/no calls on the final drive of the game will undoubtedly dominate the conversation as it takes away from what was an absolutely awesome battle between a surging team in the Packers and a regularly great team in KC. What a treat it was to watch (at least, for me ) Jordan Love and Patrick Mahomes battle for four quarters.

on the rare occasion when I visit that part of the golf course, I do the boring thing and punch out lol

Totally agree. Terrible personal foul call and even worse no call on the PI left me shaking my head.

I am pretty convinced the no call on P.I. was a "make up" call. I know that the NFL and officials will not acknowledge that those "exist" but that was clear interference and with the position the officials are in they had to see it. I feel like if the game isn't on the line they call it which is bogus, and I am saying that as a Packers fan. Packers benefitted from that just like the Chiefs benefitted from the unnecessary roughness and the clock stoppage. Officials for sure needed to be better.

Good Morning everyone!  Oops!  Just past noon!  Back from my visit to the Ortho doc about my right knee.  New X-rays taken and it's a little worse than two years ago, but they thought I could put off replacement until next November.  The kneecap is bone-on-bone.  It's stable side-to-side so I can get by with a neoprene brace, and if it flares up again, I can get a shot.  No real sharp pain, just more of an ache now.  Playing golf yesterday was OK, except I had a little trouble putting a tee in the ground and getting the ball out of the cup.  Fortunately, my wife did that most of the time.

@EasyPutter Safe travels and prayers going out to you and your family.

Raining again today.  I wish those guys in Seattle would stop sending their weather this way... I'm talking to you @No3PuttLaLa!!  We have a tee time tomorrow!!

I'm glad to hear that you call out the replacement off until November and hopefully the brace will help alleviate the pain.

Already at work, waiting on computer systems to start spitting out needed data so I can create customer meeting presentations which are shared with them each Thursday.

Glad to hear Derek's news is encouraging, and hoping it all works out in the best way possible.

Good morning spies!! Starting the day off at 36° and it shouldn’t warm up much at all. Dogs have been out and fed so now I can get some food my belly.

Crazy busy day at work yesterday and due to some absences a couple of us stayed late to help out another department that was behind. Thankfully those extra couple hours went by quick too. I’m guessing that there will be more days this week that end up that way as well so I’ll need to determine how much “volunteering to help out” that I’ve got in me this week.

Good morning all!

No power issues today thankfully, but continued to enjoy the snow. Kids went sledding and built plenty of snow people, yes my daughter put a skirt on a couple of them, and even a snow caterpillar. It was the perfect snow for it, very sticky, not as fun to shovel but great for building with it. Overall it was s fun snowy day and the first of many.

Tuesday.. Is golf day, my fellow spies. Back to the old home track to play a round with all three of the 2.0 Edison Enforcer wedges in the bag for the very first time. Will be in the high 50’s when the Ancient Agers tee off. Should be in the mid 70’s when we finish. Wind should not be a factor. 
   There is however a large storm cloud on the horizon headed right at me. The family’s benevolent totalitarian leader ordered me for the first time ever to decorate the Christmas Tree while she was off doing whatever she ruler’s do. So, I followed her orders and completed my assigned task ever so  quickly, it was so easy…..

For some unbeknownst reason;  the she, who would be ruler of all things, was displeased. I was informed that there would be a TED talk followed by a tree redo when I get home from the course this afternoon. 
May this Tuesday be to your liking. May we all weather whatever storms come our way.
