I’ve been to the Masters a few times. The experience was amazing but I would rather play it once and not go back. Truthfully I rather watch it on TV these days. You miss so much being there. You’re on one hole and you hear a roar from another. No clue into you get to a leaderboard on what happened. Phones are not permitted. The last time I went I recorded the Masters do so could see what I missed.

If you took the tickets and were alone, you can sell an extra for a pretty penny, just don't do it on the grounds!

My first reaction was the tickets would be the way to go but after reading everyone's comments I think they have swayed me to play even though I haven't ever gotten to experience the tournament in person yet!

Seeing everyone else's responses makes me think this should be an easier decision. I've never been to any professional golf tournament and I feel like being able to jump into the greatest golf tournament every year is enticing! Especially if I could bring family or friends along to enjoy the experience. I've always like egg salad sandwiches and I hear Augusta National's are THE best! 

That being said, I think I'd still choose to play there once and never go back. My nerves would be insane, but it would be awesome!

I'm also in the group that would take the option to play it once. I'm perfectly content to sit at home in my couch and watch it since they have the best golf streaming service of all the majors. I just believe there's so much you'd miss watching it live. I'd probably shoot between 160-200.

I’m with you, I’m taking the tickets. Hard to turn down a vacation to the best tournament of the year, every year.

I think it would be an awesome opportunity to play Augusta, but I can shoot 100+ at home . My game isn’t worthy, and to me the course isn’t what makes The Masters awesome but the history/quality of competition.

I choose to play even if it means never stepping on the grounds again. 

I would probably 4 putt every green so i expect to shoot a 120 or thereabouts

With my work schedule I doubt I could even get there every year to use my tickets, so definitely play!

Play definitely, I have the pleasure of knowing 2 people to have stayed there and played there   and both rank it as the best of the  best ! lucky people !

I don’t think it’s out of the cards for me to play it someday maybe that influences my choice but I’d gladly want the guaranteed weekend trip to Augusta each year. Carry that on with my kid, take my dad, etc.

Sooo play to be able to walk and play the same course as the legends amazing. It's a magical tournament to watch.

I think just on the experience, hole 1 would be the most nerve racking but the most excited too just because of the situation, 16 with all the water and trouble.

Most intimidating would be 18 looking up that chute uphill , most forward to number 12 , many a masters champ hopes have been dashed there

I would deffinetly have to play. Alot easier to get tickets than to play at augusta. At the same time that would give you something to look forward to every year for the rest of your life. I still go with play one of the best courses on the planet for sure. Never had the opportunity yet.
