What a start! Awesome to see the best against the best again. Bryson is on fire it's tough to say anyone is better when his short game is this clean with his distance. On the other hand it feels like watching this generations tiger when Scotties on the tv.

I know and some guys look like the wind is dying down on holes and playing relatively normal, then a group later none of their shots are holding lines. It's gotta be so tough with how much it's changing from hole to hole.

I know Scottie recovering after some bad shots to still go as low as he did is crazy. I'm happy to see Bryson make it out of his mad scientist personality phase he's a lot of fun to watch play.

Will be very interesting to see if the new irons continue to have significant impact on Bryson's play. If he goes low again, this will send shockwaves through the tour. If he wins or even gets close everyone will be doing this. Might anyway. Interesting no one has thought of this before. He IS the Mad Scientist on tour LOL

concerned for Tiger; most of us on here have had some sort of injury and know that early morning is tough... 23 holes in a day. I think he makes the cut but it's painful just watching him.

I don't know what Malbon is paying JDay but it has to be a lot because they are asking him to wear some .... interesting ... clothing choices. Those pantaloons yesterday and that sweater vest today ... whew. He's just jumped ahead of Hovland in style choices.

I had the Amen Corner stream going on the Masters app pretty much the whole day, once things got going. It was a lot of fun to watch the same holes played by the whole field. I love the coverage that the Masters app provides!

Agreed. There’s a nice pace and flow to a hole specific par 3 coverage or a group of holes coverage. And more importantly, little to no commercials (I’ve been using the ESPN+ app).

They are pretty nice industrial looking clubs and it's interesting to see 3D printed clubs entering the market. For a new to market/ small quantity manufacturer, it's a solid USP and being associated with Bryson will appeal to some.

Their approach to mixed length clubs isn't exactly traditional- just two lengths. 9-iron length for approach clubs and wedges and longer ~7-iron ish length for longer clubs.

Same here for watching Tiger. Watching him move yesterday, seemingly wincing after fairly straightforward shots, it did make me suspect we won't see him in his new Sunday red final round clobber. Unless he's in contention maybe. Today will definitely be a big test with the extra holes and short turnaround time until R2 starts for him. Hope I'm wrong and the warm weather helps him through the whole tournament without too much discomfort and pain.

one of the great things about the masters app is if you have a smart tv you can send the stream to your tv and watch it on your television!

Additionally most have a web browser and you can simply go to the website and play the videos that way.  I did that using my fire stick on Monday and Tuesday to watch the on the range converage.

It's an absolute bloodbath out there this morning at the 15th and 16th. Ball after ball after ball going into the water at both, double bogeys left and right. 

 

Makes me feel a lot better about my game, that's for sure 

edit - Just watched Tom Kim walk off 16 with a bogey after having a short putt for birdie, and Spieth walked off 15 with a quadruple. What on earth is happening out there this morning?

Spieth making an absolute mess out of it. That's such a tough hole. You almost have to play it sideways if you miss the green.

Yesterday I was in the lounge area of a Subaru dealership for 7 hours, waiting for my car to have recall work done, sitting in a chair that felt like high school bleachers. Having the app on my phone and noise cancelling headphones was perfect for that situation! 

I'll give the casting to the TV a try today! That reminds me, I could really use a TV in my office for about 4 weekends a year...
