Dude, you left them in the original packaging with bands on? That was ballsy. I took the bands off when I brought mine back and I put them in a box from the DR.

Hahaha - no. I had them repacked into a DR box with a new tax seal put on it, but left the bands on.  I brought back empty boxes in my other luggage. Once I got home, I put them into their box, then put them into my humidor.  :-D

Since this is revitalized I have to say that I've had occasion to sample a few authentical Cuban Cigars of late and been suitably unimpressed. This is not to say they weren't good, they were, but they weren't better than other top quality cigars that I've had. Like golf equipment it's a matter of taste and perception I think.

 

Given where I love and the number of Cuban/American members of my congregation I will have ample opportunity to sample the Cuban cigar landscape.
