Back from the vet. Furbaby had lost 3+ pounds in the past year (almost 25 percent of her bodyweight), blood work revealed a probable infection and we get to give antibiotics and steroids for a few days. The real bleeding came when I checked out afterward. Yikes! Guess Rypstick gets put off another few weeks...

They seem to care but not care all at the same time. I am hoping it rubs off on this "way to bad to be this competitive guy".

Afternoon spies!

Today is a somewhat atypical work day b/c I have a 7pm call with a client, but other than its pretty normal. Got 20-30 swings in in the backyard practicing my driver and just working on ball position and my downswing transition.

Stormy weather tonight and then colder in the 40's a couple of days before an absolutely gorgeous weekend ahead.

Good morning everyone!

It's going to get crazy here today, it's 66 degrees this morning and tonight it's supposed to get below freezing. I think we're also going to get some storms today.

It makes me glad I was able to get a round in yesterday. I played pretty good and I judge that by the fact I walked off the course with as many golf balls as I started out with. I did have to retire one simply because I hit a tree and a cart path with it.

Good morning all!

Had a nice day yesterday with the warm temps. Kids went cross country skiing with my wife for most of the whole afternoon. Don't know how much more of that we will be able to do which is crazy talk for February but the next ten days are all above freezing by the afternoon.

I also got back into the Stack as the season it right around the corner. Was happy that I was not down much in speed, only about 3 mph. Might do one more building back to it work out before diving back in.

Today is a rainy day that will likely keep up all inside given how muddy everything will be.

Well Morning all. 
 

I was a big sack of potatoes last night and didn’t prep my coffee to make this morning. That was on me. Got to head into work a little bit today, then I have to go get new tires for the jeep. They are past their half life and one tire has a staple in it that leaks air. Wound up going for all four to be replaced. Hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning Spies on a balmy 57 degree morning here in Michigan. But by 5:00PM when I get off work it will be a chilly 22 degrees. 

Will warm up again after this quick cold spell so we have that to look forward too.

Busy rest of the week for me at work, but looking forward to the weekend.

Good morning spies on this brisk 7°F morning with a projected high of 29°F today. Is just one day though, back into the 50s tomorrow and 70s by the weekend.

Had to install a new battery in one of our cars yesterday afternoon, 2008 Dodge Avenger. The battery is located in front of the driver’s side front wheel, which has to be removed for access to the battery compartment. Just over an hour to do what takes less than 10 minutes in any of my other vehicles. Very odd design.

Super exciting day! New 58° wedge from Sub 70 will be here when I get home from work. Cannot wait to take some swings with it. Maybe some actual range time this week or even a round this weekend too.

I retired in 2020 and I certainly can relate to what it’s like !

My typical day was getting up at 500am make my coffee and lunch , leave by 515 and take the hour plus commute to Atlanta. I’d work  12 + hours that day and get off around 7-730 , then commute back home and arrive about 830 pm. I had a great job and do miss certain elements about it but I was ready to let the younger guys carry the torch . Just enjoy it as much as you can and everyday as a gift . Before you know it you ll look and go wow , that went quick !

Good morning MGSpies from a was it a flicker of light that could be possible retina damage in the darkness after the alarmclock, no it was distant lightning with thunderstorm and then torrential rain dumping on us as it rolled over us early this WNY Wednesday community call eve.  Work network  sorting itself out while thunder still rumbles outside to the east, glad to see people getting out with this unusual springlike last month of winter in these United States and locally the WNY PGA HQ course Glen Oak announced they open for the season March 1st, so just checking to see this is still Buffalo  computer is up so back to watching the forum, hope golf is a part of your day

Good morning! I'm out of the house earlier than usual to get a jumpstart on work for the day because of the potential wind damage that we could be getting in Michigan. Something about coffee and a bagel with cream cheese just hits nicely on early mornings! 

I'm hoping that I can get to the simulator tonight after the kids get to bed. Fingers crossed that it works out.

58 degrees this Central Florida morning.  No golf this morning, may head to the range for a bit of practice or might do a Stack session.  

Working from home today, on second cup of espresso.  May take @jbern and head to Duncan Donuts for a bagel with Cream Cheese! MMM.  LOL.

Good morning to all on what traditionally is the last day of February but this is a leap year.  Does that mean an extra day of retirement pay. Hmmm. It’s an overcast rainy day but the coffee is going down nicely. Today’s plan is physio later in the day and see if I can successfully replace the water pump on the espresso machine without it blowing up (literally).  This is what I felt like getting up this morning. How many can relate?

Good Morning all!

Weird weather here, too, tho not quite as extreme a range as some of you others have - yesterday's cool fog turned into warm sunshine so I did a little bit of early season gardening .. a little TLC for a rose bush that was a memorial for one of our dogs .. weeding around it, resetting its trainer sticks, a little pruning (channeling my inner bonsai ).

Mild daytime temps, but ... Rain off and on 6 out the next 7 days off and on ...

So the experiment with turning my driver down another notch (- 0.75*) making it a now 9* head thats 3* open.  From its stock 10.5* std setting.

Loved it.  Longest drive ever for me and it really toned down the snap hook I have.  Now if I could just get the irons to play nice I should be able to put up some decent scores in league this year.

This is a personal best for me.

Today marks my 19 years in the Navy. Time has flown by for sure when looking back at it.
