That Feeling you get on the 7th hole, when you realize your rain suit just ain't cutting after 12 years...

Gave it hell thru 7 but when everything you have on and intend to use is wet... Had to call it as did most others... I'm sure some Die-Hards will hang in there knowing it improves their chances to be in the money.

Shame of it is that I had a respectable round started... Oh well there will be other days!

Good Thursday Day Spies, 

Just when I was getting confident posting in the Good Morning Thread from my phone, somehow this morning's post didn't go through. I'll get this technology thing !! 
Absolutely a beautiful Central Florida morning this morning - 65 degrees at 7am tee off.  Walked 18 holes.  Wind was down, skies were blue. 

I took the shot below from the 1st tee, this morning.  There was actually a group of "Seniors" who teed off in front of us.

@aguybadatgolf Your wife is definitely a keeper! I'm sure someone at PGASS can help you find a way to spend that money and stop the burn! I was reminded again yesterday that I'm still serving a time out from PGASS... and all I mentioned was getting a new towel...

Another one of those days with the clients. I legitimately question why they request training for the operators, when the management staff is the primary problem with how things are run. The operators by now know how the equipment should be run, but obviously they are going to do what their boss says to do. Also, after four different downtime events at a single plant adding up to around 20 hours of downtime, I want to slap this sticker onto every single surface I can find around the plant. Maybe on the inside of safety glasses as well just to make sure they don't miss it.

This is mainly due to the frustration of a client that refused to wait the 45 minutes for the repair to cool and set properly, so they started up the equipment and immediately not only ripped the original repair, but broke the belt in a second place. Not just once, but twice. What's the quote? Do it right or do it twice? In this case, let's make it thrice? I'm not making bitter grumble sounds at all over here.

Agreed, I’m pretty lucky that she likes golf as well. Just doesn’t share my passion for new clubs . I’ve been really wanting try out an armlock or broomstick so fingers crossed there’s something calling my name in the used section as that seems to make my wife a little happier rather than coming home with a brand new $600 LAB  like I actually want to lol.

At least you don't have these horrid things running everywhere on your course!!! Not uncommon to have 5ft long and 30lb lizards laying all over in the sun and some are pretty aggressive!!

Great day today all, been busy all day and did t get to comment this morning but thought I’d jump in now , gym day , then 3 hours detailing wife’s cart for a friend to use , then store run , hit balls , second shower and now pizza night at our American legion so it’s full day every day , don’t know how I ever managed to work 65-75 hours a week ! That’s why I worked 7 days and had little or no time for golf though I belonged to a private club !

Good afternoon Spies! Did my work thing in Fayetteville, NC, this morning, drove home 2+ hours afterward and took a nap. I awoke to find a text message telling me I'm going to Augusta, GA. Unfortunately, I'm there the second week of March instead of the second week of April. But I will drive past Augusta National every day going to and from work, for what good that will do me. On the bright side, hotels are a lot cheaper next week than in April.

Just for fun I put Masters week dates into my work travel site. Only hotel vacancy it showed was a fleabag place for $220 a night; everything else was sold out or so expensive the site would only display "not allowed". I did the same thing at hotels.com and it was giving me prices like $1900 a night, or $350 a night for a freaking Red Roof Inn.

So where the guy is with the air rifle just behind the fake giant Iguana is my house literally a PW from us in the cart with the rifle

I spent several years traveling to Augusta for inspections at the Savannah River Plant between North Augusta and Aiken, SC… 2 week trips.  More than once we stayed the first week in Augusta and we had to sign a declaration at the hotel that we would check out on the Friday before the Masters week.  No hotels in the area for the second week and we had to commute from Columbia!!

I was actually surprised I found anything vacant for Masters week, at any price. We'll be working at the James Brown Arena downtown, or more precisely in the parking lot outside. Hoping it will be warm and dry...

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!

I'm just chilling in the car waiting to walk in for another day at work and drinking my coffee. It's not actually Friday for me as we have to work tomorrow and have an early start Monday after rolling the clocks back. Yay. 

I'm looking in the bright side though, in late April third shift is going to a Sunday-Thursday schedule and the early starts for first shift will be over. Plus, it's going to rain tomorrow and I might as well be making overtime. 

I really enjoyed the community call last night and it has me pumped for the Ping wedges being tested.

Good Friday morning one and all,great day here in central Florida, going to be 83° sunny and warm ! I hope you have great weather and great days endeavors ! Only have a foursome this morning though Wednesday I headed the group of 16- had to wait on  the last guy who went to the wrong course to collect his $ so I didn’t get to hit a ball , roll a putt or even get prepared as the starter was barking to get moving , he had to drive his own cart down the first to catch up to his group ! Have to admit it was a pain to be held back like that but it happens . Be grateful , blessed and kind today.

That sounds like an air rifle is standard equipment on the cart to shoo the angry critters off the course.

It sounds like a great skill to bring as a caddy.

Good Friday Morning to you MGS Troops! Another snowy morning here in Wyoming! It’s 3:20 AM here.

Can’t sleep, again…welcome to my insomniac life. I’m not really an insomniac, just sometimes can’t sleep. Old age I suppose, but bagger Vance is on the television so guess I’ll watch it for the 100th time. Hopefully I’ll fall asleep, sat in the hot tub hoping to get drowsy…

Oh, almost forgot, sauce golf sent me some patches for my towels and the magnets came so I can sew the magnets under the patches.

Looks like this will be the only practice I get before Mesquite.

Love the young lady and the gawker in the background, but let’s look at Curry’s form here… focus! Anyway, have a great morning, hit em straight, and Happy Birdie Hunting to you all! I’m gonna try to chase some sheep.

Morning spies. Went back to sleep 4 times last night,  no reason why I was waking up e every hour or so. So o feel your pain @Erin B

@berkeleybob love watching St Andre skits.  And I have been trying to break the stigma and be the Anti-marshall! I've been nicknamed Ranger Rob by some of the regulars at the GC, but they won't let me have that on my name tag... lol

I've only had to remind one twosome to keep it moving so far.   Hardest part honestly, is when on starter duties and have to pair a random single or 2 twosomes together into groups. Some people just want to play alone. I'm fine with that. Most times I play solo too.

Good morning Spies on a TGIF from a cool and damp Michigan. Rain moving in later today, and lasting through Saturday but then the temperatures plummet for Sunday.

Only golf this weekend would be indoors, and I am hoping to get to the range on Sunday.

Normal workday for me at facility, with other team members not in, so I hope to accomplish all I need to do without interruptions, and maybe get done a little earlier than normal.

Hope your day is the best that it can be, and that something fun and enjoyable may be in your plans.

Good morning spies and TGIF, I’m definitely ready for a weekend. High today is 45° which is only 4° degrees higher than the current temp. Also should have light rain throughout the morning.

I’m hoping to get in another driving range session tomorrow and then start getting some rounds in early next week. I haven’t had the “I have to get out on course” itch but I am pretty close to it.

I’m a little bummed I didn’t make the community call last night. But that’s work for ya. On today’s episode of work, everyone is excited for it to be Friday. Except me, we have a really long day today with ranges and then the reservists are going to learn what cleaning weapons is all about. Haha. They won’t be happy because most come out from other locations and it’s “5 o’clock happy hour we got to get to”. They won’t be doing that this evening. There’s reasons why, the main being that the command that owns the armory will be closed on the weekend, and I’m not going to ask them to take away their ability to have a weekend where they have to come in. Not just so my reservists can clean. Never realized how hard it was being one of very few active duty people at a reserve command. Hahaha.

Good morning MGSpies on a not really dark WNY Friday with light already in the sky arriving in the kitchen at 6am to make the coffee for the workday   Network buzzing with Timecard Friday as we call it when payroll is processed, already into the thick of the action.  Had a great experience on the Community Call yesterday and learned to NEVER regroove a clubface warmed up by a national online finance webinar that also needed good interjections of EP brand humor to make it better.  Session 3 of 6 for PGA HOPE at Rush NY is this evening and should have more light in the sky noticeably for its successive weeks through March.  Rain is the watchword for the weekend here. Hope golf is a part of your day

Ah well be making a repair call this week it looks like, though its so old its just time to replace it anyway to be honest.  Just glad winter is basically over at this point.  Might try and limp it along till end of year since well its about to start getting warm anyway.

Well the good news is it was just the flame sensor.  The bad news is that the system is still almost 30yrs old and not getting any younger, much like the rest of us.

So im getting a quote today for a new system just to prepare myself.
