Solid start to the morning. I was a able to get a full nine in with my dad before work. Shot +4 so I was fairly happy with that considering the greens and some fairways haven't been cut yet. Just poured some more coffee and getting through last nights emails. have a great day everyone!

Morning all!

What a day yesterday; practice, workout at the fitness center and then later on wife and I played 9 (on my least favorite 9). But still overall a very good day. 

Looks like the same agenda for today; workout, practice, and probably 9. Weather is a bit different today. Yesterday started out with cloudless blue skies and ended up dry but in the mid 80's. So far this morning we got fog again so I assume while the temps will be roughly the same, it'll be a bit more humid. FYI some good news I posted on the Shotscope thread my X5 is on the way (a week earlier than originally forecast) - can't wait to put it into use.

Played with Boyz but no breakfast with a full schedule.  Only one thing, I’m a getting to like PXG more and more.  The 0311XF driver & 0311XF 5hy were working overtime this morning.  I’m thinking irons but not sure if I can afford the divorce……

Top of the pot spies . Well, I finally got an appt with a GP for today and should be able to get a referral to a PT for help with the back muscle.  It's funny that we only had two doctors in the Ruby Valley back in MT that served about 2000 people, but, getting in to see them was easy.  When we came here we figured it would be a snap getting new doc's but many are booked out 2-4 weeks+ for new patients and others not taking new patients at all.  It's that "supply and demand" thing at work.  So I sent an email out to my weekly golf groups list asking for recommendations.  I ended up with a list of 8 and one was able to get me in today .

There are three guys in my groups that recently did the PXG full bag offer and each one is raving about their GEN6 irons.  I stopped by a PXG demo tent this past Saturday and the fitter offered me a no cost fitting at their store here in the area.  I told him what I was playing, that I'd hit just about all other contenders, and that the Cobra ForgeTec X were in #1 spot.  He is confident they won't be after I hit the Gen6 .

Same for me; most weekdays are the same.  Would be boring repeating everything.

Today I am still irritated with my play last night.  My wife is doing a GNO so if isn’t raining I’ll probably head to the range to hit a bucket of balls and see if I can avoid the thin/topped shot.

I see a good many sharing pictures of their coffee cups, mugs, and tankards .  Here is what my wife and I use everyday and have for probably close to 20 years now.  Michael D's was one of those "let's stop here" decisions on one of our first trips from WA to MT back in the early 90's.  We liked it so much it became a regular stop for either breakfast or lunch depending on whether we were going or coming. At some point, we purchased a couple of coffee mugs and they became our everyday favorite. 

Anyone else have a favorite and care to share the story?

Ah phew, hoping it's that and nothing any more serious FYI but you've probably already looked you can find a lot of good SPF long sleeve tees, hats, etc in sporting goods or camping stores. Don't know about your kid but I hate sunscreen!

This mug was a Christmas present from my future daughter-in-law. It is now my favorite mug.

Coffee cups are part of the coffee ritual in the morning.

Never been there, but I'm sure we will be stopping on our next trip that way.

GM, had my two cups of coffee allotment before 6am, then my core flexibility exercises, strength training (such as it is), and some speed work in my hitting bay while my wife went to her Rotary meeting.  Now it's 10am and I'm deciding whether to mow the lawn or head to the course for some short game work.  Fridays are the busiest day at our course and no tee times available unless we make them two weeks in advance.  I don't usually play on Fridays, since we play both Sat and Sun.  I know!!  I'll go to the course... then if I feel like it... I'll mow the lawn.

My happy hour is going to hit about 2 o'clock tomorrow when I tee off on my scheduled tee time. My playing partner was diagnosed with vertigo, so I was worried he wouldn't be able to make it. Plus, we're playing his course. He called as I was driving home and told me he felt like he could play.
