Morning all,

Why I am up early in my day off I can’t say. But seeing as how I’m up already, I’ll brew some coffee and get started planning out what exactly I need to do today so we can do our official V-day dinner tonight. We aren’t ones to fight to get into our favorite restaurant on V-Day. Anyhow, gonna go hit the Mizuno 245’s today to confirm those are what I want to get and actually perform the way they should for me. Hope everyone has a great start to the weekend.

Good morning spies!! Happy Friday to all of you. Cold one here today with a 25° start and a high of only 30°. We will then go down to around 13° for the evening. Already looking forward to the chill.

Nothing too exciting happening in my world at the moment and I'm taking that as a good thing. Leaves me time to work on putting and chipping in the basement while watching golf on the tv.

Spent a little time chipping and putting at my old muni last night on the way back from work, and I gotta say it was nice being on real grass vs a matt in the garage or a sim.

New dryer’s coming today which is timely since we’re doing a trip to Memphis over the 3 day weekend, looking for recs if anyone has good ideas. One caveat is my wife’s vegetarian which limit the bbq options Looking forward to good music on Beale and hitting up some of the museums, but we decided not to do Graceland this trip (I have been before though).

Good morning everyone!

Looking forward to the weekend ahead, just need to get through some work to get there. We also have gotten a dusting of snow this morning that will need a quick shovel but nothing that should take too long. Wife has some plans this afternoon/evening so the kids and I will hang out which is always fun. As for the weekend not sure what it will hold but I am sure we will find something to do.

Good morning MGSpies from cold windy WNY on this Friday in real winter which has pretty much missed us until now (I know January snow, that was just, ok winter too) but it is c o l d although I think @ParFore74x has us beat and remembering my one winter in Kansas I know that cold.   liking the new computer now the permissions, defaults, accesses, programs, everything is working like the old one did, getting on the network so far is also easier so heading into the workday with optimism on the no commute agenda  enjoyed the community call last night, was much more spirited and that as Jamie said marked the annual mark so it is now beginning its 2nd year!  Hope golf is a part of your day!

Good morning all!

Up bright and early this morning and headed to the airport. As I’ve mentioned previously this week, my sister is getting married this weekend. Should be a lot of fun and excited to reunite with some family. 

 Hoping to catch some of the golf this weekend in between all the festivities. Will be grabbing a big coffee for the flight to get me through the day.

Good morning! Day two down of Solo Dad Duties, and I have again prevailed over death and injury. The house is a mess, but I can put that off for another full 48 hours, which I intend to do. One kid up and fed, the other will be in 20 minutes. Going to head to the gym after the last one gets on the bus for some much needed me time. I took the day off, but hopefully I will be able to get to a couple of projects before the eye appointment, vet appointment, and gymnastics meet. Today is slated to be a full day of playing Mr. Mom, to be capped off with a couple beers and a visit to our favorite pizzeria. I hope everyone gets all their crap accomplished today - go get some and make Friday great!

Good morning all and happy Friday! Not too busy of a day at work, more or less a catch up day, then headed into the weekend with no set plans which is nice once in awhile. 

It’s the first Friday of Lent which means a fish fry tonight, one of my favorite things in the world lol.

I am surprised but not overly surprised. My game has improved. Now I can really dig in to my goals for 2024.

PCP visit yesterday resulted in a couple of referrals for specific issues, but no sleep study and no RXs. The 4-hour drive to Charlotte after that left me completely knackered (I'm not a Brit @taylorjonasher) and I crashed early. One study subject today in Charlotte (then I'll be back here Wednesday). I had hoped to detour to the Cradle on the way home for a quick round (about an hour) but they're pretty solidly booked and I don't know when I'll be through in Charlotte, so dunno if that can happen. The reservations person said it was possible to get on as a walk-in but no guarantees.

Happy Friday! In RI we got a dusting of snow last night on top of the 7" from Tuesday. Yeah it will be a while before we get to play outside again, LOL.

Swim spas are oversized hot tubs essentially. One end typically has seats with jets and the other end has jets that you swim against the currents. 

We decided with having smaller kids the spa was a better solution. Still deep enough for them to splash and play but not as deep as a swim spa. We got one that is 7.5 x 11.5

But! - we have Tiger shanks. (next time it happens time I'm blaming my back too!) I'll give him credit, that was an awesome recovery shot.
Riv is one of the best tourneys to watch - the finishing holes are great.

Saturday: car shopping. yay...NOT!
Wife is driving a lot w/her new job and wants a hybrid and has her heart set on a Kia Niro - don't ask.
It looks decent but...I dunno, I guess I'm old fashioned.

Happy Friday Spies and Good morning!  

I have to say my level of joy is high today despite the 6 inches of snow we got on Wednesday!   I am looking forward to simulator time next Friday (first time swinging since October) and I got a new Callaway Paradym 4-Hybrid that needs to be unwrapped and taken for a spin!  Starting to get the spring itch again to get back out on the course so hope the snow will melt next week and it will come soon.  Heading to Orlando in March so I am going to try to get away for a morning to play!  We will see!

Good morning MGS Troops!!! Another warm morning out with the poopies and coffee this morning in Cheyenne WY. Temp is 19 degrees at 6:30 with about an inch of snow. I'm over this Jekyll and Hyde winter. All the courses south of me in Colorado are open, but the forecast for Fort Collins is cold this weekend until Sunday. So more sim sessions. I started a topic called Simulator Woes and asked if any of us have them. Hi, my name is Erin and I suffer from Sim Woes! Here is the link if you want to check it out. All is well this morning other than the warm 19 degrees. If you are golfing this morning then enjoy and Happy Birdie Hunting! I hope you capture those elusive creatures!

Slow day today which is welcomed after yesterday. No such luck on the permission slip for a Qi10 in the old Valentines Day card, but I did get some new AirPods so a solid day regardless. Just got the email that company bonuses will be coming next week so fingers crossed I can work that towards my golf dreams lol. Helping a friend find deals on a driver currently his shaft broke in half last year comically on the driving range. He had picked up a set for an extreme deal 2 years ago but the senior flex shaft finally said I’m done with you. He’s looking at a Stealth HD 1 and being a lefty there are some solid deals out there, and I love the challenge of a bargain hunt. Have a great day all

I have a friend who owns the spa store here. I may give him a call. Have to extend the gazebo but that would give me an excuse to then build a sim in it as well. You have inspired me sir!!!

Best part is, here we can get a Dr. Prescription for hydrotherapy and you can purchase it tax free.  I have lower back and sleep issues so it was easy to get the doc to prescribe.

Wow! I have had numerous surgeries and procedures on my back and developed sleeping disorders in the military. I may have to talk to the VA about this! Man you are full of ideas for me today!!!
