What Golf Ball Are You Playing In 2024?

Currently using Maxfli Tour but want to try ODIN next.

My go to gamer has been the OnCore Elixir for last season and I had better results than the Avant ball I started the year with. Had a chance to use Vero X1 and Vero X2 which with my slower swing shouldn't have been significantly better but I noticed it did go off the club face better. Amazing to me that I could actually notice such a thing so perhaps my game is going to include the top of the line ball, if only I can keep them in play more frequently then what in the past soon has me using the best experienced balls I can find.

With only a few rounds so far, I'm using the Callaway warbird. Seems to fly pretty well in the cold. Stopping power is not great on chips or 30 yards and in pitches, but as hard as thr ground is, it's not easy to get under it either.

My normal gamer is the previous chrome soft triple track, and awaiting more results on the new one to see if it will be an improvement.

The Bridgestone B RX is also in contention,  as I had good results with it during testing.

I've been using the MaxFli Tour the last couple of seasons and really don't see any reason to change. I like the performance off the driver and around the greens. Plus, buying them in bulk and saving a little money is always a good thing to me.

I'll be playing the AVX again this year.  It fits my game well.  I have a few dozen of the previous generation but am curious to see how the new model performs.

I still have a good supply of Titlesit Tour Speed and Bridgestone E12 Contact balls from last year.

Played Bridgestone Tour BX last year. Will try the new Tour BX and  RX and then decide which one I will use in 2024. Want distance but do not want to sacrifice spin around the green

Still buying and playing Maxfli Tour and Titleist ProV1 about 3:1. I played Snell MTBs exclusively for years but got out of the habit when Covid killed supply and prices went up.

I have definitely jumped around a lot with the golf ball from mizuno to Bridgestone to Srixon to titleist. I think I am going to stick with the AVX. Not sure if it’s the BEST ball for me by the numbers, but I consistently shoot lower scores with that ball, so I will most likely stick to the AVX this season

I've got a mixture of the Maxfli Tour and Maxfli Tour S that I suspect will be the primary balls I use this year.   Snagged some of the Titleist VG3 Japanese balls as well so we'll see what we shall see.  Still a good 2-3 months away, optimistically, from playing here in Wisconsin.

I usually play z-star, but got the deal for the Maxfli Tour ball (4dz for < $100) at the end of last year and will be giving those a go in 2024!

Thats easy. It’s the one I’m fit for. So currently using a combination of the MGS. Golf guide and Pings Ballnamic (www.ballfitting.com ), the current gamer is the Titleist ProV1x with Callaway Chromesoft X and Bridgestone Tour B XS as second and third choices.  Certainly would like to try the Maxfli tour ball and new Callaway Chrome Tour X ball. What I would really like to do is blinded golf ball fitting with a reputable fitter (they wouldn’t know results of online fitting) and see what they recommend and how their recommendations compare to MGS and Pings ballfitting.com

Tour Response with the wide stripe. Definitely has helped with confidence in aligning putts inside 15 feet and trusting the line. The mind is a funny thing!

As of right now it is the Pro V1X Left Dash. However, I am toying with other golf balls with similar characteristics. I do not need a spinny golf ball as I tend to rip it back too much with my short irons. Onwards and upwards I guess in my quest to find the right golf ball for my game.

After testing the Odin X1, I am going to try to stick with it and see what results I get with it on a longer run. Excited to see its extended performance.

I’ve been using the left dash as well. Golfballhouse.com has them for $30 for 2 dozen. Free shipping and they are in great condition if you don’t mind using a recycled ball. They are not refurbished! It’s a legit left dash not a cheap ball painted and marked as a left dash. Just a suggestion to keep the price down a bit.

Can I just recommend the Odin X1 to you. It’s a lower price point and matches on all marks against the ProV1. And you get a credit towards the next purchase if you buy through their website. It’s a great ball and will save you some $.

Went all in on the Maxfli tour last year and bought 8 doz during the most recent 4 for $100 which (hopefully) will last most of the season

Give Odin X1 a try. I have the same issue as you and have not had that same experience with the Odin X1. And it’s more affordable. Save some money and a high quality ball!

I started using the Srixon Z Star Diamond last year and still happy with it. But during testing I couldn’t have gone with the Chrome Soft X as well as I was getting virtually the same results. So I am very interested in testing the Chrome Tour X especially because I have have also Ben thinking about trying the tru track options for the putting feedback. Also plan on testing the the Bridgestone balls as well.
