Still looking forward to replacing everything in my bag save my Newport 2 putter this season.  The driver is in its 8th season, and everything else in its 7th.   It's well past time.

Need to find a reputable fitter in the PIttsburgh area.  Mine moved several years ago and haven't found one that's any good.  Have options that include Golftec, Club Champion, Golf Galaxy, and Five Iron.

That’s a slippery slope you got there. I managed to replace all but my Putter and 46* Wedge. And that’s because they got replaced last season. Only club older than 18 months is my hybrid.

Recently purchased the T300 Titlist irons 5-48 degree in senior flex, I flight the 5 pretty well but not sure if I would the 4 so Im considering going with the Titlist U505 utility iron in 4 instead. Does anyone have any experience with the U505 and if so what did you think and how does it compare size wise to the T300 irons?

Need a new bag for my push cart. Looking at Sun Mounbtain Sync or the Titleist Cart 15. Does anyone have any feedback on either of these bags

My wife went looking for a new bag this year; looked at our only golf store in town and in couple of the mega stores in Phoenix.  She pick the Sun Mountain Maverick over the Sync and Titleist... and many others because she liked to arrangement of the top of the bag better.  It's different than most bags.  My only gripe about it is the same one I have with most cart bags... lack of a good handle to grab the bag for putting in/taking out of the trunk of the car.  I prefer stand bags, and they work well on push carts.

loving my vessel bag FWIW. I know they are on the pricier side

The rest of your bag obviously needs new companions AND it'd help them play better!!!!!!!!!!!! I think they'd welcome the new additions w open arms

Hmm, its early in the season, and I've been consistently finding fairways with my 3 wood. So, this latest release from TaylorMade has triggered my recency bias.

I am thinking about mostly Cobra equipment at the moment (awesome Cobra Connect challenge coming up). Although my odds of getting in are low, I have been looking hard at the King Tour irons (I already have a cobra driver so that won't be a big jump). 

If/when I don't get into the cobra connect challenge, I am looking very hard at the Maltby DBM irons as well. I just got a DBM gap wedge to test (I know, I know a 7 iron would have been better) and I love the looks, feel and performance so far. Just a really simple iron with a low COG that helps with launch. Plus these irons seem ultra durable.

I have the Titlist 15 in black and gray, love the bag. The MCC+4 grips with 3 extra wraps under them are a tiny bit snug but not bad. If you put a lot of stuff in the pocket in the bottom front where most keep balls and tees then the insulated drink pocket gets squeezed pretty small, thats my biggest complaint.  Its very sturdy standing on its own as long as its loaded somewhat evenly, no putting 6 dozen ball on 1 side lol.

So my dad finally retired and is looking to get on the golf course regularly and take it serious again. He's looking hard at TaylorMade Stealth irons and Cleveland Launcher UHX irons. The Stealth he has tried and hit well, the Cleveland he has not tried. Anybody have experience with those? Wanting to get them for his retirement gift.

That’s awesome! You should take your dad for a fitting to make sure he gets the best set for him. For sure he will enjoy whatever he gets even more.

Yeah I'm big on fitting, so much so that I've studied it enough that I can fit myself and him. We actually went yesterday and tried about seven different heads and based on the data I changed the shafts out until we found the best results. I've been lucky to gain a lot of knowledge from high end fitters and it has helped with saving on high costs for fitting.

Thinking about adding a 4 hybid or 5 wood to the bag.  Currently have Ping G425 LST driver, and3 wood and a G425 3 hybrid.  Sometimes i feel I need something between that and my 4 iron (My irons are Rogue ST Max).  I hit my 4 iron very well but sometimes I would like something that flies a bit higher.   

Thoughts?

Sub70 is the way to go for golf bags! They are really nice quality and a fraction of the cost compared to bigger brands. I have the hybrid cart bag and absolutely love it. You could save yourself a decent chunk of change with those. Check it out!

Looking at upgrading my irons, 15+ year old TM RAC's. Really keen on getting fitted into either Mizuno Pro 225 (or even 223) or the Srixon ZX7

Strictly my opinion but from better chance at getting a better quality, more complete fitting ...

1. Club Champion
2. Five Iron
3. either of the other two will be hit or miss depending on if you get someone halfway qualified to do club fittings; plus selections will be more limited vs first two

I remember back in the day- Callaway had a 2 Deep 12.5* (they also had a 3 Deep that was 14.5*) that was wicked off the tee or turf. I carried one for a LONG time. And they also had a Bertha Mini Driver 12* that was really nice too. I carried the 2 Deep and the Mini as my first FWs for a while(not at the same time) when my SS was a little bit (ok- a lot) faster.

The Srixon ZX7 are pure! Haven't hit the newer ones but love mine! I've always played Mizuno irons but the Srixon beat the 223 for me this time around.

Good to know man, I've hit the "1st gen" ZX7 as my playing partner games them and it's hard to argue with the quality of strikes and buttery feel! The Srixon's are at a much better price point here in NZ too, i.e. ~$1000 NZD cheaper per set.
