Late to the party on this one @BostonSal being a UK player, I would that fitting is still down to the select with some £££ or the talent. For me I have been adapting my bag as my game slowly improves, so at the moment I think 8 different shafts:

Driver - self chosen 55g stiff Adila

3w & 4h - Taylormade 2017 stock 65g s

2i - Mizuno rifle reg flex maybe a 90g not sure

5,6,8,P - KBS 90g reg flex

9, - 90g stiff as it previous owner lost his 9iron from set

7 - reg 85g, I hit a tree root, flushed the ball 200 to the green and the head went 120 behind it.

SW - Lynx wedge flex

LW - KBS tour clite taper 110g stiff

Ping Sigma 2 stock shaft.

 

Rubbish I can't count ...9 different ones.

I have a Ventus Blue in my driver, Tensei in my 4 wood, HZRDUS Black in my hybrid 3-iron and Project X shafts in my irons 4-PW. My 52, 56 and 60 degree wedges and putter are all standard off the rack shafts. I was fitted for everything except putter and wedges.

Fujukura Speeder shafts on Driver, Fairway and Hybrids.  True Temper AMT Red R300 with my irons and wedges.  These are based on Titleist club fittings.

I have different shafts in my driver and 3 wood, same shafts in all my irons, except the 60-degree wedge and the putter.

A total of 5 different shafts.

I have always had great performance with Graphite Design and Mitsubishi Diamana shafts. So I usually have all of one, or a combination of the two. I tried the Ventus Velocore’s over the last few years and you can’t argue the success they’ve had, but I didn’t get anything any better than what I get from my GD’s or Diamana’s. So I have a Tour AD XC in my TSI3 DR and a DI HD in my 13.5 FW (at 43.5 plays like a mini driver) a DI-95 in my hybrids and Diamana BF Series in my 16.5 and 21 TSR2/TSI1 FW’s. Project X LZ in my irons and wedges.

Like Project X shafts for the most part.  Although the last few sets of irons I ran KBS Tour V.  In fitting, the Proj X LS 6.0 has noticeably better feel than anything else I hit and numbers were great, so my 923 Tours are fitted with those.  Stealth 2+ was good with the stock gen 4 Hzdous, but the dispersion with the Ventus black was much better, so I ate the cost and ordered one.  3 wood and 3 Hybrid are both running Hzdous Smoke black.  Wedges KBS Tour V.  When I do the next set of wedges I will change to the Proj X LS, although I may mess around with the new Fuji Axiom as I am really impressed with the Ventus/Velocore.

Right now with massive equipment changes I am experimenting with as SOP there are 4 different shafts in my fairways and Driver. The irons I am experimenting with are all Steel Fiber 95 R. The gap wedge Lord only knows because I found it on the scrap pile. The 56 has a KBS wedge. If and when I commit I will re do my signature. I am not fully committed yet.

What do you think of your Project X? I like mine but finding they might not be the best in my longer irons.

I love them. I have PX 6.5 in irons and wedges. When I got fit I went from stock 95 gram shafts to these 125 gram shafts, which was definitely much needed. The PX profile definitely fits my swing speed and style. They feel really stable
