Browned the pot roast with onion and put it in the crockpot with the tomato sauce, porcini mushrooms, red wine, rosemary, thyme and oregano. Finished attending Midnight services and back at the wife person’s royal domicile. Thought I would share a relatively unknown historical bit of information on one of the backstory’s concerning Christmas. 

Remember we are never too old to learn. We should also be open to being reminded of some of the most important times and situations in our lives.

Thank you all for sharing your love/hate relationship with golf. I have truly enjoyed the last few months on this forum. This Christmas season. I have been gifted by the members of this forum with friendship. For that I sincerely thank you. 
  Oooops, got to go. From the sounds of things, the Alpha female has opened her Christmas present and is none to  thrilled with the vacuum cleaner. I should have gone with upgrading the gift and getting her the Shop-Vac instead. 
 May this Christmas find you with those that you love and care for and that love and care for you.

Good morning MGSpies on a peaceful Spirit filled Christmas morning in WNY with a quiet house thanks for the "maturity" of older children for this Monday yesterday full of fog for a good bit of the day as Rob @rkj427 had reported from his locale but traffic was light on the highways in my neck of the woods and it is much too warm for snow, and I have it on good authority that Santa had wheels on his sleigh this year. 

Great family gathering for football on TV and Christmas Eve dinner at the in-laws before many had to go to serve on the musical group at their church for the 10pm formalities.  Today is round 2 for the family gathering at brother-in-law's to ensure everyone is jolly and stuffed.  Hope everyone has someone to spend the day with talking golf or not, just be with people if you can find/tolerate them.

My friend @Dead Solid Bogey your way of spinning yarns and regaling us with insights of how married bliss can be embraced with spirited words is more appreciated than you know, my spirits are always lifted higher with your unique (to my experience) phrasing and storytelling that has me glad you are contributing as a regular member here on this thread in particular!

Good morning and Merry Christmas, my friends! I am just settling in with a hot cup of coffee after getting bum rushed by the dogs. They get pretty excited when I get up and demand I love them first thing. 

I'm feeling good this morning after two straight days of playing golf. I haven't posted up about yesterday since yesterday we did our traditional Chinese food buffet run, pajama pant exchange, and show watching.

Family brunch this morning with lots of good food and drinks to look forward to. We do a not-so-secret-Santa gift exchange for my family. Excited to see my dad's face when I give him this Ping G425 3-Hybrid as his gift when the spend limit was $100 (I got it for free so I say it counts).

Always a delight to read the morning posts. As I lay here in bed pretending to be asleep as I can hear chaos in the kitchen. The minute I leave the room I most certainly will be set to task.

Since we are having company in about 2 hours we did our gift giving last night. The “Nut” scored with plenty’ of golf related stuff.  A golf themed vanity plate for the car, 3 books that are golf related, golf pants, 5 golf shirts, a box of balls, a pair of golf shorts, and a set of air buds. Finally getting rid of the wired ones. Last but not least a set of graphite shafts that Santa ordered for me as a surprise. Should be delivered tomorrow. 
Well I guess I should get up and be in the way. Oops I mean helpful.

Merry Christmas Spies!!

The little one got up at 7 and started playing with the presents from Santa! She still doesn’t know what’s going on! The wife and I are tired from a night of game playing and drinking with the inlaws. I got to hit the sim yesterday but was doing some drills before hand. Did the split hand drill and snapped my 8i in half… Guess I finally got an excuse for a new iron set right?

Good morning everyone. Christmas gets different once the kids become teenagers. Parents are typically up long before they are and we usually have to wake them up so we can start the opening process. Normally I wouldn’t mind the quiet morning but this year Santa brought me The Stack and a PRGR monitor and I feel like I’m 10 again, eager to open and play with my new toy! I hope everyone gets lots of great golf goodies under the tree. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone.

Thanks.. Was probably a good idea to deflect the reason for your laughter from your bride. I am firmly convinced that the “ Bride Bunch “ has had some sort of secret internet thingee going on for at least 1/2 century before us mere mortals were able to attain the internet.
