The first of two submissions this week.  Hopefully this won't be the tournament submission, though did well for myself for this course.  I'd like to find more than two pars per round as at my handicap those count as net eagles!

No warmup led to a rough start.  Started to get ahold of it a bit towards the middle of the first half, but still felt like I stunk it up a bunch.  Seeing that I pulled the back 9 in a bit and hit a PB for the course but felt gameplay was terrible means that greater things are ahead.  #15 was a near birdie miss for an easy par.  Putting was significantly better on the back due to improved short game play, was really having a tough time chipping and getting the green speed down on the front.  

Looking forward to another swipe at a gold star round this Sunday where we play Stone Creek.

One of my worse rounds I’ve posted. It was a struggle all day. I was burning edges with my putts all day.  The greens were topped dressed and vericut. They were surprisingly slow, but the sand didn’t let the ball break like it should have. Only good thing is that I didn’t lose any balls.

DAMN YOU NINTH HOLE!!!! 

Sigh. Ok. That's out of my system. First time playing 18 in three weeks, and feel like, with the exception of that one holler, played really, really well. 

Two natural birdies (including on 18 which I got a stroke on, which I didn't realize until after), and three more that missed by approximately 1.5" total. 

I DON'T think it's enough to get us through, @rkj427, but I really did try to make as much good stuff happen as I could

What's crazy, is I find this course to be VERY challenging. Lots of uphill par-4/5's, lots of narrow fairways, and this is by far my best score ever on this course, but according to the slope/rating, I only get 6 strokes, which feels punative, lol. 

Anyway, killer day, perfect weather (didn't get hot until we finished), and a great time with a buddy.

I didn’t win the day but I shot a helluva lot better today than Tuesday. I actually made some putts!!! Amazing!! I had two birdies even. One was  a par 5 into the wind and the other was on the tough 18th.

Well partner, @Golf2Much, I gave it my best shot but came away no better than yesterday's round. Still loving the Jailbird which has yet to produce a 3 putt with 31 for the round. Today was a day for burning the edge of the cup with tap ins to close out the hole. Irons were better, not hanging them out to the right, but not good enough to go low. As both scores are the same, I'll let you decide which round to use although this one does have 1 more birdie...

This Tournament has got me FIRED UP!  @GolfSpy_BEN!

Lowest round of the year!  Throwing darts out there today.   Birdied both par 5's on the back.   Image below is my approach on 18th from 176 with my 4 hybrid.  Got up and down a couple of times and threw in a sandy on 16.

@tw1ns, no problem.  With a little online investigating, I was able to fill in the blanks so I could post your score.  Since my partner and I are facing off against you, I sort of wished I didn't!  Great score.   It will be tough to beat!

Morning round after 4 days at Mt Rainier NP. Wasn’t expecting much but had a personal best from the tips. I was a OB on number three and it some short putts I should have made from breaking 90 from the tips. Took a while to gain my low point control with irons but when I did I was hitting some crispy shots.

on the last hole pulled this out of my butt. Will discuss is shot of day thread.

So much improvement! This might be enough to keep me as a single digit for a while. Lost a few strokes down the stretch as my back got sore (a common issue for me), or this could have been exceptional. Lost one birdie that would have certainly gone in if I had pulled the pin, but I don't usually do that from 20'.

I thought I was keeping the same groove I had recently going after that front and then the wheels came off! 3 lost balls on the back and a 3 putt did me in. Going to try and get back out there again this weekend. @GolfSpy_BEN how long is the competition open for, if you say Sunday night I will apologize in advance for the later number crunching you’ll have to do for me entering a round on Sunday.

Best round of the year so far.  Drove the ball fairly well.  Approaches were a mixed bag but the wedge game was pretty good today and the number of putts was great.  I don't think I have been under 30 putts for a round in a long time and today it was 27, with ten 1 putts including 6 in a row on the back side.

Had a ball in the water on the drive on No. 6 but gave myself a decent look at a par putt before settling for a bogie.

Didn't compound any bad shots with a follow up bad shot.  Golf can be easy sometimes.

Only drawback compared to yesterday's round was the time.  2:50 yesterday and 4:16 today.

Technically you have until Monday morning at 9am before the thread locks. Although, for scoring purposes, @Golf2Much would appreciate the earliest you are able to post it. Remember, it’s always advisable to stay in the official scorer’s good graces

@rkj427 I will be on Wild Rock in 2 weeks for our annual pilgrimage to the Dells.  We have been going to the Wilderness Resort every year since 1999 or 2000.

We stayed at Tamarack Resort in Lake Delton with some of our friends from west Kansas and played Wild Rock on the recommendation of @GolfSpy_KFT.

Just a "heads-up" that about 1/2 of the greens were just aerated a couple days before we played and were slower in speed than the other 1/2.

Maybe they will be done, and all the same speed when you go.

It truly is a great course, just a long way between some greens and tee boxes.

A definite "must play" if anyone is in that area.

A very nice round for Team Commonwealth.  Overall, 2 over with 3 birdies, 30 putt round with longest drive of 272 yards.  Hopefully, it holds up as the competition is fierce, especially those Texas boys, @Javs and @Josh Parker.  Course rating 68.7, slope of 122, par 72

Bit better today, went out and hit some irons before the round which helped on my approaches also had a new putter. Holed a few long putts but also missed 3 from inside 4 feet. +3 going out and +5 coming in, finished bogie, bogie, bogie, double.
