Fournette somehow was held in check by Miss State. LSU looks legit. I'm intrigued to see that LSU Ole Miss matchup. Miss state had a nice little win over Auburn. Wouldn't shock me if they got some love late in the year.

That record was already set. First time in 72 they haven't opened as the favorite.

 

Gonna be a sloppy game Saturday. Rain has been beating on the state for a week plus now and there's a 90% chance of rain. I actually got a second set of tix, we're not sure which we'll keep but I'm angling to keep club level instead of the lower level seats cause club level is covered. Gonna be a gully washer. I'm taking my golf rain gear lol. Doesn't get used on the course so might as well use it

There's a long row to hoe. I'm hopeful we bounce back in Knoxville this weekend. Thing is, our team is young as heck and carryover hasn't been tested yet. If we come out flat Saturday, it could be a long month... When you lead the country in freshmen that see snaps, that's good because they get game experience but it's bad because it shows how young your program is.

I've wanted to go to Texas A&M since I was 12, my dad went there and mom went to tarleton so I never knew otherwise. I honestly think we can pull out an undefeated season if the defense keeps improving and Kyle Allen continues picking apart the competition. My only concerns are Alabama and Lsu, if they beat them then I think it's all the way to the cfb championship.

Well, huge blow today... CMR has said preliminary indications are that Nick Chubb won't need surgery.  If he doesn't, I want a DNA test, because he's from Krypton if that's the case.  That knee looked as bad as Willis McGahee's and Marcus Lattimore's.  It was ugly.  I couldn't even watch the replay because I actually caught it in real time.  Just sad sad circumstances for a very good young man.  Hopefully he recovers well.  Ugly loss and the prospects for the remainder of the season don't look good.

They look Damn good. I expected Harbough to turn them around quickly but this is impressive.

They really do look good.  Harbaugh and his staff have done a great job of turning talented players into a strong team.

 

That said, my team (Michigan State) has not looked too good.  They have not looked like they have played a complete game - things look out of sync.   As fortunate as they have been from an injury standpoint in the prior few years, it has all come back all at once.  That's not an excuse, just reality,  It will affect the game, but nobody really cares - they only care who wins the game and that's all people will remember.  The winner of this game will likely play Ohio State later in the year for the division championship and a place in the conference championship game.

 

At the beginning of the year, I would have told you I was pretty confident about this game.  I knew Harbaugh was going to make Michigan better.  What I didn't know is how much Michigan State was going to struggle.  Right now, I think the Spartans can win, but its going to take a few things going their way, the intensity of the rivalry eliminating some of the mental lapses and some replacements stepping-up and playing well. 

 

The only thing I am confident of at this point is that it will be a good game and that I will be watching it while pressing this year's batch of wine and sampling last year's.

Sorry state fans, but if you play the same way you have played all season, this game will be over in the first quarter, at this point I don't think you will score a point, you can't play that poorly and against good teams and expect to win. GO BLUE!! Mich 30- state 0

There is a big difference between MSU and an overrated Northwestern team. I think this one will be a good game. Not sure who I give the edge to though.
