Got Problems?

Went to start up my old reliable power washer today after its 4 month hibernation. Broke the pull starter cord - it didn't turn over at all. Went to turn the crank by hand - piston frozen. Used mystery oil - no luck. Time for a new one!

I got a new plug, some K100 and starting fluid...still nothing so it looks like the carb needs a rebuild. I've taken it off and will getting it to my mower guy tomorrow.

Good luck. Sounds like your bowl has some build up, or the jets are off. You could try to drain it and see if any sludge comes out of the carb. I highly recommend putting non ethanol blends in your mowers, boats, ATV's, etc. it's bad news.

Is this your first time? This is my 8th (7th as an adult) and I still enjoy it. If it is, you have to make a night for beers around the world at Epcot; if you can handle your booze, start with a shot of tequila in Mexico and end with a shot in Mexico......warning you will most likely be blitzed. We always go with my in-laws, so they have the kids that night.

I highly recommend putting non ethanol blends in your mowers, boats, ATV's, etc. it's bad news.

I'm in the same boat. Nothing around here that sells straight gas without ethanol. I did find one once two hours away from my home that didn't have ethanol; of course the price per gallon was $6.90 versus the blend at $2.15 a gallon.

Screw Delta. Third week in a row that I am stranded somewhere. Delayed in NYC to SLC and now stuck in SLC for the night when I land. I have 17 minutes to make my connection and they already gave my seat away. I can fly standby if I so choose. Complete BS.

Fun staying in SLC, isn't it??  When I first started flying to Russia, I could get home on Delta in one day.  I was always able to make the final leg connection in SLC.  The last year that I flew to Russia, Delta changed their schedule, and I could no longer make that connection, so it was either spend the night in NYC or SLC.  Guess which one I chose!!!

What pisses me off about the internet / forum world is when people put in for tester jobs and don't get selected post a negative comment.  Like "click bate".....   Come on now,,,,, if you only put your name in a test review opportunity and you never get involved in the community, what do you expect?  If YOU were picking from those that entered would you:

 

1. Pick a random name

2. Pick someone who shows a genuine interest in your forum

3. Or better yet pick someone who contributes to your forum.

 

It's not rocket science folks and even this ole country boy can understand that to earn and by the way,, it's not a dayuuummm contest to be selected for the opportunity to test equipment, you need to get ya lazy arse involved.  Enough said!

 

If I wasn't too lazy, I'd bump my post count by welcoming every new poster without an avatar in a testing application thread.
