Late afternoon Wednesday my friends.. May it find you all happy, healthy , or recovering with strength of spirit and very little to no physical pain. 
@Preeway condolences to you and the family on the loss of your FIL. @MattWillGolf hopefully the light of your life, your wife, is recovering with as little discomfort as possible. @sirchunksalot that is great news about that hard head of yours. @EnderinAZ Hope the Medicos are fast, accurate, and completely successful with your procedure. @Erin B May your Big Boss /Lady Fair’s medical protocol planning be a success and lead to her complete recovery. 
   My work is finished and I am headed home to the keeper of my life and owner of my heart…. the wife. Any ideas I had about trying some golf to see how my hands and wrists  did handling a club have been dashed by the She of She’s and her Medicos. Have to stay on the IR until at least May. Her Highness warned me that there is more than a good chance that I am looking at multiple hand/wrist surgeries. Won’t know until after the next round of tests ,exam,and then the consult with the Big City specialist. Taking golf purchases off the stove entirely and not just on the back burner. Trying to be an adult about the my situation but as we all know being an acting like a grownup is not exactly my jam. 
   May all that can, enjoy playing some golf… I will be feeling sorry for myself and looking  like the one on the right…

I got the test results back from my skin biopsy and found it out was what they initially thought, keratosis. That's a major relief, my wife has been stressed. 

That's great new Jason!  All that biopsy stuff is creepy and scary .  Stay real diligent using sun block and go wide brim when you can.

Wishing you short visits, and shorter recovery times DSB!  Nobody wants to be out of the sandbox watching the others playing in it.  I feel your blight with that part.

@Dead Solid Bogey I hope the medicos can get you straightened out before long and that you can get those hands and wrists taken care of. 

I'm feeling a bit under the weather this morning, I think it might be a rare case of allergies or possibly bronchitis. I've had a bit of a cough lately. I'm going to run into the clinic and get tested for Covid because my wife is going up today for my sister's surgery and we don't want to risk her getting sick.

Morning all. In what seems to be the theme of the day, I'm also dealing with some bad news today. Just got a call that my uncle, who's been a golfing buddy and taught me a heap of stuff on and off the course since I was a kid, has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and has only been given a few months at best. 

 

Make sure you all enjoy the time you have playing with friends and family, and if you haven't done so recently, give a family member a call or message and tell them you love them.

@Dead Solid Bogey really hoping that you stay strong and that all the issues get resolved sooner rather than later.

@Fongle sorry to read that news, cherish those great memories and be as supportive as you are able.

Jason, @sirchunksalot hope you feel better and that it is nothing serious, and hopes her surgery goes well.

For me, a much longer day, as I also have an unexpected meeting AFTER the community call. 

Sad part of that call is it is on an old issue that resurfaced because the customer went back to an old part to keep the vehicle production line moving.

It also is an "add-on" component to what we supply which is why it impacts our company and product.

Hope that your day is the best it possibly can be, and that something fun and enjoyable is in your plans.

Good morning and a happy Thursday to all of you. Still cold outside today with a 34° start on our way to 48° but that Iowa wind will still rip right through you. Daughter has a soccer game this afternoon and that is going to be a tough one with the wind and temps.

Morning All, was up all night with wind gusts over 70mph at the house.  The wind cuts through the valley and makes some very crazy noises for which I just cannot get relaxed. Only 36 degrees out so I’ve got a fire going and the coffee water is heating up, going to use the French press today. Looks like rain all day, so im going to try and do a few things, sink some putts in the basement, and watch the rest of Full Swing. Have a great day everyone

My goodness I was skinny 12 years ago! Los poopies are waiting for my morning cup o Joe.

Now this next one is a throwback!

I think Zoey was 11 in this pic. Ok back to the present. The spousal unit has an appointment in Denver this morning so that’s first on the agenda. Then I play 9 at 3 today. Yesterday I got in 18 for a 79 in the wind. It was 20 mph sustained with 35 mph gusts. If you want to play golf in Cheyenne you have to play in the wind. El Newton shaft performed well and I hit some good shots in the face of the wind. The greens were super slow though. Spring golf….ugh. I like fast greens so this will definitely have an impact on putting when I play in Colorado. As always have a blessed day and let’s see some of those throwbacks! Happy birdie hunting!

Good morning MGSpies from the center of the Low pressure between the air masses in WNY on this Community Call Thursday  sorting through the work details already on a zero commute workday with hot coffee hitting the right spots.

Reading the posts by so many fellow Spies all valued and celebrated takes longer these days, spending time to understand and contemplate peaceful intentions for invoking healing and restorative powers beyond comprehension.  Others are so much better at citing names and what is called to focus, each one does in the moment of reading and this writing serves to assure that every need is remembered and presently there really are too many to mention at risk of missing a single one.  And those intentions some call prayers don't begin and end with their reading.  Thankful for all who share and those who hold privately those things they do not mention. 

Hope golf is a good part of your day!

Ahh good morning!! My lovely and loving wife said she'd take the trash out, so I'm back in bed relaxing! What a nice start to an otherwise grey wet yucky day

In forum and equipment news I have to admit I'm very intrigued by the LAB DF3 review opportunity - it's literally the one thing I'd like to test - but otoh don't really want to get sidetracked from working on improving my overall golf game...

So I'll do some more basement putting and garage swinging today .. then the Community Call this afternoon, followed by the last of my indoor clinic sessions this evening.

Sorry to hear about this news! Make sure you help him lives the best of it as it seems he already has. My father was taken a few years ago by that awful stuff. Wish yall a very peaceful and east process!

On that note this community is awesome! Might be some people that tell you what you don't want to hear but need to hear but you can always count on some words of encouragement to get you moving thru the process. 

Grab a Big Ole Cup of Coffee and start to concur the day ahead! No matter what anyone tells you there is enough time to WIN each day you just have to make it a priority and move on to the next.

Good morning! Last day of school with the students this week. Professional development day tomorrow full of meetings, so that should be fun. Hoping for a better weathered weekend this weekend to get some golf in. On Sunday, I'm going to The Seventy to get fit for a new Sub70 driver and potentially another wood. That's my highlight for the week! Let's hope it goes well!
