Actually I was thinking steel, cause I play steel myself.

Graphite work is familar due other hobbies and I wouldn’t pull a graphite without proper equipment.

The risk of making a minor crack is too high and a pence worth repair will suddenly cost a new shaft at least.

For steel, I don't use a puller. I just heat up the hosels and twist the heads off. No harm done.

Check out my recent putter build.  I installed a BGT stability tour Colbalt shaft into this CURE RX1 putter.  Topped of with the new Golf Pride reverse taper grip. The club turned out great.

Club builders - it's a pain in the back end for me to get golf epoxy here in Switzerland. Truly and so annoying. Are there any true alternatives or should I just suck it up and do it from North America?

I think, you will find a suitable product from these offerings near by.

The 659 TC are getting new shafts and a new look! Just pulled all the heads yesterday. Going to do some sort of clean up and then give into it!

Should be fun and have been meaning to do this project for weeks and weeks!

Been a while since posting last. I just finished painting 2 of my 2-ball putters.

One is an original 2001 2-ball, the other is a O-Works 2-Ball fang with the RX insert.

I started with the Fang, the insert, like most of them, came out, so I had to epoxy it back in.

While I was in there tinkering around I decided I wanted to paint it.

After I got the Fang done, I decided to also paint the original.

I played around with the Fang, and took the alignment aid off so I could paint.

Underneath is actually a pretty nice looking alignment aide shaped kind of like a hammerhead shark, so I used that as some inspiration, and got my wife to use her cricut to cut me out some vinyl teeth.

Then I recessed some magnets into the plastic alignment aid so I can add or remove the 2-ball alignment on a whim, and use that or the "hammerhead" alignment.

Pretty happy with the turn out.

Very cool! I love the removable 2-ball alignment. I assume with strong enough magnets it doesn't rattle around at all when hitting a putt? Solid paint work as well! What paint did you use?

Thanks, so far so good with the putting, they are neodymium magnets so they are nice and strong.

It's just some Rustoleum metallic paint, "aged copper" is the colour along with some semi-gloss black.

The black on the bottom of the Fang is just black vinyl, I couldn't be bothered to tape everything off and paint again.

For the original 2-ball I was going for the EXO Special Edition look, that putter is just.... 💦

I recently got a shaft puller and pulled a bunch of shafts to repurpose. My favorite of the one I built is the Yamaha RMX

Purchased the head and headcover for $70

Very Impressed with this 3 wood. Shape is excellent, forgiveness is as good as I have come across in a 15* 3W and the distance is as long as my Exotics CBX or Stealth. Headcover is very well crafted as well.

Added some carbon wrap to the Fang alignment plate.

Looks nicer than the dull black plastic, and now it matches the carbon on my original 2-ball

I work 3 days a week in a golf shop called, The Clubhouse & More. We are a component dealer so everything we sell we build. I will put together at least one set of irons per week. I will regrip clubs as they come in. I also do many repairs each week such as drilling out broken shafts and replace with a new shaft.

Hello all. I have been a master club builder for almost 40 years. (Been building for almost 50 years but took a while to become good). For many of you new to club building, this goes back to the days before metal woods so we had to whip woods to shafts. I have not been hitting my 3 wood well at the start of this golf season (NE Ohio) so cleaned up and regripped a Tommy Armour EQL. Hitting it almost as far as 3 wood but accuracy is substantially better. Also using Reid Lockhart 60 degree wedge that has 4 bounce angles for at least 15 years. Remains best wedge ever in my opinion. I use Avon Chamois OS Grips with 5 layers of tape under bottom hand.
